🎃 Throwing it back to Lil Bit’s very first Halloween at Layton! 🦥🧡

Our sweet sloth was getting into the spooky spirit, and we couldn’t resist bringing these adorable memories back. It’s so fun looking back at Lil Bit’s first holiday celebrations with us!

Who else is excited for another Halloween with our animal family? 👻💛

🐦 Just look at those colors! 💚

Our parakeets may be small, but they’re packed with personality and beautiful details from beak to tail. Sometimes you have to get a little closer to appreciate just how stunning these little birds really are. ✨

Who else could spend all day watching them? 💛

🎃 A spooky good deal is creeping in this October! 👻

Monday through Friday, admission is just $5 after 4 PM all month long. Come spend your evening with some of our coolest creatures, explore the aquarium after school or work, and make a little room for adventure before the night is over. 🐍🦇🐠

But don’t wait too long… this $5 after 4 PM deal disappears when October does. 🕸️🧡

🌊 Dinner comes with a splash around here! 😂

Feeding the stingrays is such a fun way to get a closer look at these incredible animals as they glide right up for a bite. There’s nothing quite like feeling one swim up to your hand for the first time!

Would you give stingray feeding a try? 💙

🦥 Say cheese, Lil Bit! 📸

It looks like Lil Bit had a few visitors stop by for a selfie while hanging out in that cozy hammock. Getting this close to a sloth definitely makes for a photo—and a memory—you won’t forget anytime soon. 💛

Thanks for spending a little time with Lil Bit!

🌊 The best view in the aquarium might just be from down here!

Crawl into our underwater tunnel at Layton and suddenly you’re surrounded by fish with stingrays gliding right above your head. It’s always fun seeing guests settle in and wait to see who swims over next.

Definitely one of those spots you’ll want to stop for a picture before crawling back out! 💙

🎃🦔 Quillium is officially ready for Halloween!
He’s showing off his spooky-season look, and somehow those quills make the costume even better. 😂 From festive enrichment to adorable costumes, Quillium is definitely getting into the spirit this year.
Happy Halloween from one very prickly little character! 🧡👻

🐟 Okay, but have you ever stood next to a fish this big?!

Our white sturgeon are pretty hard to miss, and seeing them cruise right past the glass gives you a whole new appreciation for just how impressive they are. These prehistoric-looking fish are always worth stopping for a closer look.

Next time you visit, see how you measure up! 👀💙

🐦 There’s something extra fun about having a parakeet choose your hand as its next landing spot!

Our parakeet encounter gives guests the chance to slow down, get up close, and spend a little time with these colorful, curious birds. Before you know it, one turns into two… and suddenly you’ve got a whole group hanging out with you. 😂💚

Definitely an experience worth adding to your visit!

🦎 Looks like someone is changing outfits! 🌿

Our day gecko was caught right in the middle of shedding its old skin. As geckos grow, shedding helps make room for that growth and keeps their skin in good condition—and sometimes we get lucky enough to catch the process happening!

Consider this the reptile version of a wardrobe change. ✨
