This past week we all attended WVC, a veterinary conference held in Las Vegas, where we expanded our knowledge and fortified our team spirit, equipping us to provide top-notch care to our patients and clients.

All of us are working moms, so it was also a great time to relax without responsibilities, other than to learn. We collectively earned over 40 hours of continuing education, boosting our confidence in new and emerging treatments, nutrition, diagnostics, and technological advancements in the veterinary field.

I'm proud of our team for everything we were able to learn and the excitement we shared of implementing it into our practice culture. ♥️🐱🐶

Thankfully in this case, what happened in Vegas, won't stay in Vegas! Stay tuned for some amazing updates that we will share!

A big thank you to those who ordered a 2026 Davis Mobile Vet calendar! We were able to raise enough money to help shelter a pet in need for one week. If you still would like to contribute more visit Ruff Haven Crisis Sheltering for more information on how to donate, or how to volunteer.

Thanks for helping us close out 2025 by helping out local families keep their pets during a crisis. ❤️

We hope you all have a happy and safe New Year!!

Our 2026 Calendar is now available to order! Thank you to all who participated and shared your photos. It was so hard to narrow it down, so we included more than one photo per month. It was a lot of fun to see your pictures. Sable had a lot of fun creating a fun calendar.

Remember any profits we make will go to Ruff Haven Crisis Sheltering. If you do not wish to buy a calendar, please consider donating to them or another animal organization this holiday season.

We will be doing a calendar contest and getting custom print 2026 calendars. We will be taking photo submissions until Thanksgiving. We will need at least 12 photos for each month of the year. So if you have any great photos of your cute pets, we want to see them!

Once the final selections are made, we will share a link to order a calendar for 2026. Who wouldn't want a cute calendar starring cute dogs and cats from our area?!

All profits will be donated to Ruff Haven Crisis Sheltering. A local non-profit organization that will help temporarily house dogs and cats in a time of crisis for families, to try to keep pets with their families and decrease the number of pets admitted to local shelters.

You can share your picture in the comments below or email them to: [email protected]

We can't wait to see the cute photos you share with us!!

As vet tech appreciation week comes to a close, I cannot let it end without recognition of our one and only vet tech Sable. Sable has been working with us for almost 2 years. She is caring, gentle, organized and very smart. Sable does so many things day to day that helps to keep me afloat and take care of our amazing patients.
For those who don't know, vet techs literally wear about a dozen hats at once. They are phlebotomists, restrainers, pharmacy techs, doctor assistants, surgical assistants, anesthesia techs, dental hygienists, and much much more. And they do this all while trying to not get peed or pooped on 😅
Sable always does everything she can to make sure our patients get the love they deserve ❤️ And honestly, she keeps this veterinarian (me Dr. Amanda) in line!
Make sure to thank her and any other vet techs you may have come across. They never get enough thanks and credit for the jobs they do

Have fun this summer but be careful out there! Make sure to keep your dog on a lead on the trails so they are safe. Also, we highly recommend Rattlesnake Aversion training for your dogs if you are active in the outdoors.
