This is a public service announcement and it may not be a popular opinion.

It's not a requirement to pull your Jr doe from the next ring if she wins a leg. You have paid just as much as everyone else to be there and if she wins again you now have another shot at BDIS. Perhaps the next judges opinion is the one you were very interested in hearing?

Fairs are coming up, that means premiums. Again, you are not required to pull your doe or not take her to the show.

Enjoy your animals, enjoy showing them, you've certainly put the time and work into raising them!

9Patch Harris Vidalia. Nope, she didn't win a big ribbon BUT she did stand still! Vidalia has been a bit challenging to show this year, must be the yearling loss of brain cells. Hopefully they return for milking next year

Beautiful weekend showing at the Western Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Club show in Franklin, PA. This club always puts on a great show! Nice to visit with friends old and new PLUS see some gorgeous goats.

Highlight of the show for me would be Tempo Aquila Standing Harris being chosen as CH AOP buck and Best Buck in Show for both rings! Harris is now a finished CH with some beautiful offspring. Thank you Jayce for helping with handling Harris.

Speaking of Harris beautiful offspring, 2 of his RG daughters were selected CH and RSV in both rings. 9Patch Harris Evenstar was CH in both rings, Sunset-Dreams Everdell was RSV in both rings. Both does have a Lamancha background from Sunset-Dreams dairy goats.

Yearling milker 9Patch Harris Denali was 1 & 2. 2yo does Hickman Farms Lily Jen was 1in both rings while 9Patch Acclaim Thistle was second. Dry yearling 9Patch Harris Vidalia did some refresher courses on showing and came out with a 2nd in one ring and a 1st with RSV in the other. That was a large class of dry yrlg with some lovely entries!

Shout out to Tianna and Hunter Bova for their help in and around the ring. Appreciate you guys!

Excited to announce that Tempo Aquila Standing Harris is now a finished champion! On top of finishing he also was chosen Best Buck in Show for both rings. Thank you to Jace Updyke for helping handle Harris.
