One year ago this evening, we lost Roch, the old, stray pittie who trotted into our back room right after we began operation.

Roch lived with us here for only 3 weeks before Hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer took him from us.

In his 3 weeks, essentially our first 3 weeks in business, Roch became the unofficial face of Not Forgotten Pet Cremation.

He leaned on our clients who needed a gentle soul to cry with. He was a warm, loving soul who offered comfort to all who walked in, mourning the loss of their pets.

He was such a huge part of our organization, even for such a short time.

Later this afternoon, I will be saying goodbye to the family dog of some dear friends of mine. While not my own, C**t has been my buddy for several years. I’ve groomed him countless times, fed him meat from the kitchen counter too often, and have gotten to love on him while sitting on the back porch for a lot of years. His family will miss him terribly, as will I.

Roch and C**t will now share this very special, very emotional date forever. Two of the best boys who weren’t really mine, but who each owned a little piece of my heart. Fly high, boys. 💔🐾

This is quite possibly the best thing we can post. ❤️💔🐾

I hope everyone here has a safe a wonderful 4th of July celebration today!

One year ago today, we received phone calls from a couple scrambling to find someone to take care of their beloved pet, who had passed overnight.

This was our first client and set the tone for what we expect of ourselves.

The gentleman from Altus was emotional and grateful to be able to honor his pup the way he deserved.

That has been our goal since our inception, to simply be there when we’re needed, offer an empathetic ear and welcoming environment.

In similar fashion, we were there this morning after a tragic accident took the life of a beloved pet.

We can’t always dictate when we might lose our furry friends, so we will do our best to be there when the unfortunate happens.

Today, I will be spending the day with friends, as many of you will, and I will be mere minutes away from the office for the majority of the day.

While I hope nobody else loses their beloved pets today, I will be there if you do.

Good evening, Lawton area. We are looking at a potentially heavy snowfall and some bitter cold temperatures this weekend.

I am posting this for a couple reasons.

1) Limit your pets' outside time. Many pets are not equipped to handle this weather. Those of you with Huskies, feel free to disregard. This is their personal heaven!

2) If you are not equipped to travel in heavy snow and slippery roads, don't. Stay safe and warm.

3) I AM equipped to travel in heavy snow. I grew up in it, and I have 4WD vehicles that can handle it. If you should need our services, please don't hesitate to contact us. If you can't get to us, I can get to you.

Stay safe, Lawton!

Good evening!! This picture says so much!

We all hope to be reunited with our lost pets one day. I know I do.

A good friend of mine lost her beautiful pup late last week. She lived a long life, and she saw her through big changes in her life. She will feel her loss for a very long time.

I had a good conversation today with a lady whose dog also passed late last week. She described him as her “soul dog”. He shares a name with one of my dogs, and we talked about them both, about how they are such amazing companions. This conversation mirrored the phone conversation we had preciously. She has two other little dogs I was fortunate enough to meet this afternoon. She’ll find comfort in their little faces, I’m sure. I hope so.

It’s amazing how deeply our pets touch us in what seems like so little time.

For the sake of all of our clients, and for our sake, I truly hope we are reunited at “The Rainbow Bridge”.

Good morning, Lawton. I really just wanted to remind you that we’re here for you when you need us.

I’ve noticed that people often try not to “bother” us over the weekend or on holidays.

We don’t mind. We don’t keep daily office hours, because we want to be available when you need us. That can be Tuesday afternoon, Sunday night, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, etc.. I have met clients at 4 am and 11:30 pm. Our very first client contact was on the 4th of July.

Please call whenever it is that you need us.
