Just a few spots left in our Beginners class! Come join us and help your dog build his confidence and begin building consistent behavior, regardless of the distractions around you! Read on below!
Our next session of classes will begin June 16, 2026 at Pawsitive Pet Services (1911 hwy 20, Lawton) and enrollment is open! Classes are every Tuesday for 6 weeks. Because our classes always fill, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to hold your spot. Read on for details about the classes and if it works for you and you want to enroll or have additional questions after reading, give Steph a call at 712.301.8082. Please note, a message or text will not enroll you as an exchange of information is necessary.
Before we get into descriptions, please know that formal obedience training is basically a cure all. It builds confidence in fearful/anxious/insecure dogs. It puts a dominant dog in its rightful role in the family. Best of all, classes teach you how to train your dog to be a pleasant, behaved member of your family and in the community, as well as socialization. I can't stress this enough, the EARLIER you start classes (regardless of the age you get your dog), the easier the training will be. It prevents bad habits and behavior rather than having to break those habits and train in the good ones .
Beginners Class is 6:30-7:15pm. Cost is $175. We will teach you to train your dog how to sit, lie down, sit/stay, down/stay, come when called, heeling and basic house manners of jumping, chewing, barking, etc.
Intermediate Class is 7:15-8pm and cost is $150. Intermediate picks up where Beginners left off, using new exercises to seal the beginning skills and to work your dog towards off leash reliability. Every one of our stidents will tell you Intermediate is a fun class and youll see exponentially faster understanding from your dog.
Advanced Class is from 8-845pm and cost is $125. Students in our Advanced class have loved building the relationship with their dog and enjoy training more complex exercises. Our students are working on getting their dogs therapy certified, are interested in trialing or are already competing, or just love the relationship they've achieved through training and don't want to stop.
Raden Dog Obedience is the only local school whose trainers trial and compete. This is important because trialing a dog means an impartial, objective, and knowledgeable person is evaluating someone's training skill with a dog in real time. 🐾
