A beautiful German Shepherd rescue:
This is Patrick with Jade. She is 18 month old.
Patrick got her from a family who could not take care of her. She had to much energy.
We started basic obedience training with her.
Jade is doing great. She has a couple of behaviors we have to work on, but nothing severe. She does have a lot of energy, but she comes from a working line. It will be a lot of fun training with both of them.

Throw back Thursday:
From shelter dog to rescue dog and much more:
This is proof the rescue dogs can learn high level skills:
Eric and his Shepherd mix Cam doing the weave polls. What a great job !
Eric adopted Cam from the Shelter.
With great dedication and lots of love we transformed Cam from a Shelter dog to a great companion.
Eric now moved on to tracking training and Cam is excelling!!!
Don’t give up on your dog, you never know what talent is hidden in him!

Update: 3 rescue dogs ,endless progress:
Training 3 rescue dogs at the same time.
Yes it can be done,and we are improving daily. We started all 3 of them in off leash obedience 2 weeks ago and now they are sitting and downing instantly.
It shows that with love, dedication and training you can have incredible success.
Arianne is a perfect example. She is so dedicated and never gives up.
All of them are rescued!
Kathe the Shepherd, Lina the brown pit mix and Lotte , also a Pit mix.
I love training and help rehabilitating dogs especially if the owner is that dedicated!

A beautiful Golden Retriever puppy:
This is Cayden and his 10 week old Golden Retriever puppy Hank.
They started basic obedience training.
Hank is a very nice and active puppy.
In our first session, he learned how to properly walk on a leash and we also started structure training and of course potty training.
Hank did great!

A beautiful Doberman puppy:
This is Dafne , her husband Nate and their 4 month old Doberman puppy Penny. They started basic obedience training.
Penny did great , she is a very nice and smart puppy. We actually met them last weekend at the Stillwater dog show. They also showed their puppy.
Dafne and Nate are very dedicated and love to work with their dog. I’m excited to work with them and see how far we can take Penny.

Last weekends dog show in Stillwater:
Wizard did excellent:
3 out of the 4 days he won:
BOB and WD.
He also got a group 4 Owner handled in the Terrier group and he got
a group 3 in the Terrier group. With that placement he got a 3 point mayor what means that he has both of his mayors and a combined 11 points towards his Championship and this at only 9 month.
Great handling job from Ashley Fincher and great grooming from Donna Martin.
Thank you to the judges and Priscilla Boland our breeder from Prismic Bedlingtons for all her help and being always available not matter what!
We are all proud of the little guy!

Throw back Thursday:
Rick and War dog :
War dog is a Dutch Shepherd. Rick rescued him when he was about 4 1/2 month old. At that point Rick was already his 4. home. War dog was a handful, typical Dutchi. He was dominant, aggressive and did not want to listen. Rick never gave up on him.
Now War dog is a perfect example in dog rehabilitation.
He passed his Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors. He does not show any aggression anymore in any situation. He is also the Boss with Rick’s other rescues, and never shows any aggression behavior.
What a turnaround. We are now working towards a service dog for Rick.
Never give up on a dog!

Diabetes alert dog training:
This is Bobby with his 2 dogs Wilson , a Standard Poodle and Charlotte a mixed breed.
We are training both to become Bobbie’s service dogs.
I took this picture Monday during a training session. We are working on scent discrimination. Both dogs are learning to alert if and when Bobbie has a diabetic episode.
The training takes time and diligence.
Both are doing a great job.

A old dog can still learn:
This is Brock and his dog Moose.
Moose is 12 years old!!!
They both started basic obedience and behavior modification training with me.
Brock owns Moose for his entire life,
but recently his living situation has changed. He moved in with his girl friend and her family.
This was stressful for Moose and he showed some aggression.
Brock and his girlfriend did not want to give up on him and started training with me. Those situations have to be handled with patience and the dog also needs some consideration and time to adjust.
So far Moose is doing very well and I’m confident that I can help them.
Compliment on Brock and his girlfriend for not just throwing in the towel.

A 2year old German Shepherd:
This is Jim, his wife Tiffany and their Shepherd Kiss. They started basic obedience training.
Kiss had a great first class. Jim and Tiffany only had him a little while. They got him from a friend.
Great name though. Wonder where they got the name from??
