Meet Judge! 🐾❤️

This handsome boy is seriously one of the sweetest German Shepherds I've ever met! He's also incredibly smart!

Judge is in his teenage phase right now, and let's just say he's got some manners to work on. 😂 He's a great dog, he just needs a little help learning what's expected of him.

We've been working on some basic obedience and teaching him how to make better choices.

In these pictures, we're working on his "place" command. This teaches him to go to his bed and stay there until released. It's a great skill to have, especially when you need your dog to settle while things are going on around the house.

Judge and his family are doing really well so far! He's such a fun dog to work with, and I'm excited to see how he progresses!

Meet Waylon! 🐾❤️

This little ham has had a pretty rough start when it comes to socialization. His dad got him when he was already 5 months old, and unfortunately, it seems like he didn't get much socialization while he was with his breeder.

When I first met Waylon for his consultation, he was absolutely terrified. So scared, in fact, that he was peeing out of fear and wanted nothing to do with me.

Fast forward just TWO training sessions, and we're already seeing some great progress! He's starting to gain confidence and has even started approaching me on his own instead of running away and hiding. ❤️

With dogs like Waylon, we're not just working on obedience. We're building trust and confidence, and most importantly, letting him learn that new people and experiences don't have to be scary. We take things at his pace and celebrate the little victories!

And here's a fun little training fact: Dogs with short, stubby legs can have a harder time learning the down command because there's not much room to lure them down the traditional way. 😂 So we're getting creative and teaching Waylon to lie down by luring him underneath his dad's leg!

I'm so proud of this little guy and his dad for the progress they've made already. Can't wait to see Waylon continue to come out of his shell! 🐶❤️

A few pictures from our Basic Obedience group class! 🐾

We're only two sessions in, but everyone is already off to a great start!

So far, we've been working on focus, touch, sit, down, and learning to ignore other dogs. That last one can be especially challenging when there are so many interesting things going on around them! 😂

I'm really happy with how everyone is doing so far! The dogs are learning, the owners are putting in the work, and I'm looking forward to seeing their progress over the next few weeks!

🎓🐾 Congratulations Xena!! 🐾🎓

Xena and her dad did amazing with training! They worked so well together, and I’m so proud of both of them and all the progress they made! ❤️

And of course, with a name like Xena the Warrior Princess, she had to sport her royal cape for her graduation picture! 👑😂 I think she wears it pretty well!

Way to go Xena and Dad!! You guys did awesome! 🐾❤️🎓

🐾 GROUP CLASSES START THIS WEEKEND! 🐾

If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now’s the time! We’re kicking off TWO 6-week group classes in Elgin this weekend:

🐶 Basic Obedience
📅 Saturdays starting September 26
⏰ 5:00–6:00 PM

Perfect for building better communication, manners, and everyday obedience with your dog.

🏆 K9 Rally – All Levels
📅 Sundays starting September 27
⏰ 4:00–5:00 PM

A fun way to put those obedience skills to work! You and your dog navigate a course together while practicing different skills along the way. Beginners are welcome!

💲 $165 for 6 weeks

Dogs should be friendly with people and other dogs and able to be under control in a group setting. If your dog struggles around other dogs, private training may be a better fit — just reach out and we can talk about options!

🐾 Dog Training Group Classes Starting THIS Weekend in Elgin! 🐾

If you've been wanting to work on your dog's manners, brush up on obedience, or just find something fun to do together, I have a few spots left in my group classes starting this weekend!

🐶 Basic Obedience
📅 Starts Saturday, September 26
⏰ 5–6 PM
🐾 6 weekly sessions

We'll work on basic obedience, leash skills, better communication, and practical skills you can actually use in everyday life.

Dogs don't need perfect manners to join us (that's why we're going to class 😂), but they do need to be friendly with people and other dogs and able to be safely controlled in a group setting. If your dog struggles around other dogs or people, private training is usually the better place to start.

🏁 K9 Rally – All Levels
📅 Starts Sunday, September 27
⏰ 4–5 PM
🐾 6 weekly sessions

Rally is a fun obedience-based dog sport where you and your dog work together through a course of different signs and exercises. It's a great way to continue building obedience skills, improve communication, and give your dog something fun to do!

You do NOT need to be interested in competing to take Rally — it's just a really fun way to work with your dog and learn something new.

Both classes are held in Elgin, OK
$165 for the full 6-week class

🎓🐾 Congratulations, Meaty! 🐾🎓

This incredibly smart and handsome German Shepherd officially graduated! 🥳

Meaty’s family adopted him just a few months ago, and I have been absolutely blown away by how eager they have been to learn right alongside him. They came into training ready to listen, ask questions, practice, and figure out how to be the best teachers they could be for their new family member.

And Meaty? He is SO smart. Watching him learn and watching his family learn how to communicate with him has been such a pleasure.

I absolutely loved working with this entire crew, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come together. ❤️

Congratulations, Meaty and family! You guys were an absolute joy to work with! 🎓🐕❤️

🎓🐾 GRADUATION DAY FOR McRUFF! 🐾🎓
Everyone give a big round of a-paws for McRuff — aka Ruffy! 🎉
This ridiculously adorable little Westie has officially graduated from training! Ruffy is the perfect combination of cute, smart, spunky, and full of personality — basically everything you’d expect from a Westie packed into one very fluffy little package. 😂❤️
And I have to give a special shoutout to Ruffy’s parents. They are truly some of the sweetest people and have been an absolute joy to work with. Ruffy is one very loved little guy, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of his journey!
Congratulations, Ruffy and family! 🎓🐶 I’m going to miss seeing that adorable little face!
