I just want to say thank you to all my customers who have helped my small buisness to thrive. I appreciate each of you, and I have a special place in my heart for each of your fur babies. So many wonderful memories these past 4 year's and I'm blessed to of had the opportunity to make a difference in the quality of life of many dogs. Alot of things have changed in these 4 year's. I started out scared to open a buisness and fearful of failure, then last year made top 10 groomers of Kentucky it wasn't easy but nothing worth doing ever is. The world struggled through Covid in 2020 and I feared we would lose the buisness but we made it through the hard times. I will always be proud to have been a Dog Groomer for 12 year's. I've learned alot over the years not only about myself as a person, but the dogs I would take care of and the parents who loved them. Every Dog has a story, some would come to see me as a new pet parent unsure of what to do for their new fur friend and i would get to know these dogs and love them. Some dogs would come to get their end of life groom, there parents wanting them comfortable not knowing when the day would come this was the hardest groom to do knowing it could be there last, many times I barely made it through these groom's and seeing the parents when I gave there dog back always broke my heart. As a Groomer I have pretty much seen it all the good and the bad. However It's not only about the dog's, the parents who bring them are just as important. I've had far more nice pet parents than cruel ones through the year's, however after covid some people became bitter and would take out there personal problems on us groomers making threats not to pay or complaining and doing false reviews and acting violent towards us. After awhile this takes a toll on a person's confidence. No one is perfect, and alot of people are unaware of all it takes to groom a dog. It's not easy, if it were alot of people would be doing it.We all fall short of perfection and this is what makes us human. Dog groomers are natural perfectionists and we are more hard on ourselves than dissatisfied customers. I have far more good memories than bad ones, all in all I will always be proud to have been a small buisness owner who started out with nothing and walked away proud knowing I was able to know and love so many dogs and the many pet parents who have become like family to me. I will forever be thankful that I had the chance to do something in my life to help others and their pets, and very sad to say after 4 year's Karmas Pet Boutique will be closing and the last day for buisness will be Tuesday January 31st. If you would like to get your fur friend in one last time for grooming feel free to call or text us at 859-433-6141.
Each of you will forever hold a special place in my heart. I've grown to love many of your dog's over the years like my own, and I'm sad to go I will never forget any of you.
I would like to mention a few dog's that have touched my heart in these 4 year's, that have passed and will always be missed. Max Howard Shepherd, Booker grey hound, Molly St. Bernard, Ike Sheltie, Birdie Spaniel. Life is short love your pets while you can.
And to the one who started it all my cat Karma A.K.A Mama Karms. When you love your cat so much, you name your buisness after her🐈⬛
