At Absolute Pawfection, the safety of the dogs in our care comes before anything else—period. If a dog is highly distressed and not safely tolerating a service, we will stop. That is not negotiable, and it is not up for debate.

Our role is not to force a service for the sake of completion or compensation. It is to protect your pet, even when that means saying no.

We also want to be very clear—disrespect toward our staff will not be tolerated. Speaking to anyone on our team in a demeaning manner or attempting to use threats, including bad reviews, to pressure us into unsafe situations is unacceptable.

We understand that not every dog enjoys grooming. However, we expect every client to show the same level of respect that we provide.

We proudly stand behind our team, our standards, and our decisions. If that is an issue, we are simply not the right salon for you.

Confession from your favorite dog groomer…

My own dogs, Donkey and Cojo, are currently shedding like they’re trying to build a third dog.

Before anyone says it…
Yes, they’re on a monthly deshedding treatment.
Yes, they get brushed.
Yes, I groom them.

And yet… my house still looks like it’s decorated in premium dog hair confetti. ✨

At this point I’ve accepted that dog hair is just part of the aesthetic.
Black leggings? Hair.
The couch? Hair.
Probably floating through the air like tiny tumbleweeds.

BUT — imagine how bad it would be without regular deshedding treatments. 👀

Shedding is normal, but routine desheds make a huge difference for your dog’s coat and for your sanity.

So if your dog is out here redecorating your house with fur… it might be time to schedule a deshed. Your vacuum will thank you. 🐾

Story and I have always had the sweetest little love affair. From day one, he’s been my boy — and the feeling is clearly mutual. His mom said the moment he realized where he was going today, he about jumped out of the car with excitement. If that’s not the best compliment, I don’t know what is. 🥹

There is nothing better than a dog who wants to come see you. That kind of trust isn’t taught overnight — it’s built with patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love.

Story, you’ll forever be one of my favorites. 💕✂️
