🏕️ Camping Season is quickly approaching. And Pinky Pie Hall is here to help!
🐱 Pinky Pie's Camping Guide: 🐱
1️⃣ Make sure vaccines are current! You never know when you'll have to defend your territory (and your snacks) against a raccoon, an opossum, a bear etc.
2️⃣ Use reliable flea, tick and heartworm prevention! You won't see these coming like you will the critters in rule #1, so it's best to have your owners just keep this up to date year round so you don't have to worry about it!
3️⃣ Bring plenty of fresh water! Camp snacks go best with fresh water from home. Don't assume rivers, ponds or streams are safe to drink from!
4️⃣ Keep your dog leashed and under control! Look, even the most well-mannered dogs can become curious and before you know it, they're a mile from camp. The family cat will actually prefer this be the case, but you don't want your camping trip turning in to a search and rescue! (Bonus points if they’re micro-chipped and have ID tags on!)
5️⃣ Bring their normal food! As much as we love our treats, we rely on our regular meals to keep us healthy!
6️⃣ Give them a place to get out of the weather! A sheltered area will be much appreciated if the elements become less than favorable. Somewhere dry, preferably, for dogs is good enough. For the cats, we'll expect you to bring a couple pillows, our favorite blanket, our window hammock and our cat tree.
