Baldwin Junction Veterinary Mobile Service

We want to thank you all for coming out for Dr Nottingham’s retirement party! We were very happy to see Dr Tom Taul! He established Baldwin Junction Veterinary Clinic in early 1978 (we think). Dr Nottingham started after graduating from KSU School of Veterinary Medicine in May 1979. Jeanne worked two summers, starting in May 1978 while attending Colby Community College. She started full time in May 1980 as a veterinary technician. It was a full circle moment having us all back together again! It was such a great day!

UPDATE: He has been found! Thank you everyone!

Facebook friends - David and Jeanne’s pony, Buddy, got out last night and they have not been able to find him. They live just off 59 HWY and CR 460/N 650 Rd south of Lawrence. Please keep an eye out, and call Jeanne at 785-423-5188 or the Baldwin Junction Mobile Vet phone at 785-594-3124. Thank you and please feel free to share! He is very sweet and loves treats and grain. If you have any deer cameras set up in this area we’d greatly appreciate you checking them in a chance it would have caught a pic of him.n e

To all my valued large animal clients,

After 44 years, I have decided to quit the large animal portion of my practice. As of January 1, 2024, I will only be serving small animal clients. I will continue to have large animal medications and vaccines to dispense, should you need them and wish to purchase them from me. I will be available by phone to consult on your large animal concerns, in the case you would like to seek my veterinary advice only.

It has been an extremely difficult decision, but physically I am no longer able to perform the treatments and procedures necessary to provide the best care to my large animal patients.

As soon as I recover from knee replacement surgery, I will continue making small animal house calls, and in-clinic patient care on Tuesdays at Lewis Veterinary Hospital, 3101 W 6th St Lawrence, KS.

With sincerest gratitude for all of the years of your patronage,

David L Nottingham, DVM
