National Veterinary Grief Awareness Day is a time to recognize the deep bond between veterinary professionals, pet parents, and the animals they care for. Every loss can carry a profound emotional weight, and veterinary teams often experience grief alongside the families they support.

Today, we honor those feelings, encourage compassion and open conversation, and remind both pet parents and veterinary professionals that they don’t have to carry their grief alone.

Cai and Bentley are here showing off their Doggles! 😎

Some of our patients use Doggles (protective eyewear for dogs) in various situations, such as post-operative recovery, eye conditions, UV protection, debris protection, and for our active or working dogs.

Just a friendly reminder: Doggles shouldn’t replace veterinary care. If your dog has redness, squinting, discharge, cloudiness, or an eye injury, please have a veterinarian examine their eye.

Archibald came in to see our Internal Medicine department, and was patiently waiting for Dr. Prentice , DACVIM. He was the bestest boy during his visit! 🐶 🐾

Our Internal Medicine department is a branch of medicine focused on diagnosing and treating complex, chronic or unexplained conditions inside the body, usually with medications and other non-surgical treatments.
