"The plants came in packaged well and healthy" – Brandi
The best part about Hornwort is that you do not even have to bother planting it in the dirt. You can literally drop it in the tank, let it float around, and pretend you spent hours aquascaping.

If doing weekly water changes feels like a workout, letting dirt and plants do the scrubbing is a pretty nice trick. 🧹

Diana Walstad's research shows how potting soil and heavy plant growth absorb fish waste naturally so you spend less time lugging buckets around. The bundle pairs her main ecology book with her shorter booklets on keeping fish and nano tanks simple.

We always enjoy seeing how plants are settling in once a shipment arrives. If you ever feel like sharing a quick note or photo in a site review, it automatically throws your name into our monthly $50 drawing on the first of the month.

Do you remember how long it took for your fish to stop darting behind the plants every time you walked into the room?

"The fish that used to hide when you walked in now takes food from your hand." It is one of those subtle milestones in this hobby that shows your tank environment has truly settled down. Once fish get comfortable with your presence, feeding time becomes a whole lot more interactive.

Do you have a fish that eats straight out of your hand during feeding time?

Ever put brand new plants in your tank only to watch them melt into mush? 🫠

Most farm plants are grown out of water, so they drop their old air leaves before growing underwater ones. Acclimating them gently cushions that shock so they do not melt down completely.

Have you ever had a plant melt down and then surprisingly bounce back?

"Excellent. They came in looking very beautiful and thick. All survived and looking well." – Jennifer 🌾
Dwarf Sag is basically underwater grass that spreads all on its own. Once you plant these ten, they start sending out little side shoots that fill in the empty spots in your gravel like a green lawn.
Thanks so much for leaving a review, Jennifer!

"Almost forgot to place a review due to life being life, but happy to say my plants are doing incredible! Everything arrived well packaged, arrived incredibly quick, and was alive on arrival!" – Trashasaurus 📦

Life definitely gets in the way of tank time, so taking a minute to drop a review means a lot to our small team. Glad your plants settled in fast and are thriving!
