Thank you to everyone who donated to the tip jar so far this summer. I contacted Audrey at WCCCC to see what was needed now and she said breakfast items.

Today, breakfast items were dropped off at WCCCC in Wylie.

A total of 60 single serve cereal boxes, 34 Pop Tart boxes, 5 large Cheerio boxes, 10 large Lucky Charm boxes, 8 boxes of pancake mix, and 24 containers of strawberry jelly.

A couple bags of toiletries, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and bars of soap were also donated.

If you’d like to learn more about Wylie Community Christian Care Center, the link is below. The kennel has been working with them for about 10 years. They help local families with short term needs.

Looking for a permanent home(s) -

An elderly customer recently suffered a handful of health issues that have left her wheelchair bound and now living in a care center. She is not allowed to keep her dogs at the center.

After contacting multiple rescues and foster agencies, being told they were all over run, the 2 dogs are here at the kennels.

👉🏼 ‘Pita’ - black & white terrier/chihuahua mix, about 9 years old, said to be 14 lbs, but I think she’s smaller. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

👉🏼 ‘Pebbles’ - tan chihuahua, about 10 years old, close to 7 pounds, spayed and current on vaccines.

Both girls love to cuddle and always accept scratches.

They would love to stay together, but can live apart if needed.

If you know someone looking or know another senior lady who would like a companion or 2, please text, message, or call the kennel and I’ll see if we can set up a visit.

Daisy the dobie, Daisy the yellow lab, and Daisy the golden.
