I have 4 juvenile Silkies available from The Bantam Barn!

🖤 Mom: Black Silkie — split to mottled
🖤 Dad: Non-bearded Black Showgirl
🐣 Juveniles are non-bearded

All 4 have the correct number of toes, but for my breeding program, I would like to see better spacing between the 3rd & 4th toes and between the 4th & 5th toes on some. Because I’m being selective about what I retain for my program, these four are available!

🐔 I do suspect these are pullets, but because they are still juveniles, I’m not guaranteeing s*x at this time. They’ll be going for a lower price just in case that isn’t the outcome! 💕

They’re still young and growing, so I’m excited to see how they continue to develop. 🖤

I will say this while looking for birds to add to your breeding stock make sure you know what too look for. I am seeing people sell paint eggs that the parents are clearly split to mottled 😅 I also know they are split to mottled 😬 I bought from the same breeder last year. Who was careless and deceitful. I have seen people defending this same person. This breeder continued to sell these eggs till the pen was sold. Said breeder also sold these birds under terrible conditions and didn’t post any of her paints split to mottled in the selling post 😬 A new breeder now has these lines and is continuing to sell them. Even though I let them know and then proceeded to repost with out the roosters with red combs, one being chocolate and one being paint after stating they were split to mottled. Paints or chocolate that are full color and not split should not have red combs, a dom white shouldn’t have a red comb, paints also shouldn’t be albino white skin like you get with mottled ( yes they can have pigment holes but not like that) 😬 If you have bought eggs that were “ mottled “ or “ paint eggs “ from MoondanceRanch last year or up until now! Then you more than likely have these birds in your breeding program 😅 Calling people out in this community gets you bashed well I frankly do not care , my following count also doesn’t care. Spread the word! Test your birds! Rant over! Pictured posted so you can clearly see 🙄 I also have other proof as far as original breeder not denying the paint being in the pen sadly, after I had a paint hatch from “ mottled eggs “ parents being all splits a hypher white is not plausible with the test breeding I have done 😅 Do with this what you will 🖤
