Here is Griffin (Grey bunny), Maple and Phoenix (cat). Griffin and Maple came to us from very loving homes and humans who took pride in caring for them! After Peter's passing, miss Maple was kind of a sad bunny and Griffin didnt much care for many other bunnies. I (Kara) made the choice to adopt both of these big ol babies and make them spoiled rotten house buns! Phoenix was found dumpster diving for food, he hides under my car, and after some convincing he came right to me. I did not even think twice, I took him out of the cold pouring rain, into my car and into my home. He quickly adjusted to having a bunny as a best friend! And 2 months later he had two best friends. They snack together, they drink together, and cuddle puddle all together. In these moments I realize that my love for animals has no definitive ear size, paw shape, or snack preference. Instead of "shopping" for another bunny, I adopted from within the rescue. Please excuse my heart as it implodes from loving animals to no end ❀️🐰😍

Peter is missed whole heartedly, but I do know he would've wanted me to love another bunny/bunnies. I envision the rainbow bridge bright as ever with only the finest of fresh water, bananas , hay and the tallest grass. I am the one being rescued day after day by these fluffy bums.

And its also so wonderful to be greeted by big perky bunny ears!

WARNING: cuteness overload!

Today I sat back and guided my helpers on the barn cleaning. While the kids were busy, I was too, watching cute little fluffy bums!

One of these baby bunnies, however, does not belong. We had an emergency intake for it last night from copper city. But can you tell which? The babies and mama took well to the incoming baby bunny and they are all thriving. We are grateful for the smooth transition.

Hello again everyone, we are yet again on an intake hold unless emergent. We can do adoptions but please be patient and give time. I (Kara) underwent emergency surgery yesterday. I do have helpers for cares, if anyone would like to offer up some help, we won't turn it down. I am unable to lift, bend, or twist.
If youre looking to adopt we can do so on an appointment basis, I will need to ensure I have extra hands to attend to basically anything when it comes to the bunnies.

As for intakes please just message us and we will figure something out. Again patience will be key and greatly appreciated. If youre interested in helping us maintain their barn, we would be grateful.
Its all for the love of bunnies ❀️🫢🐰

We also had another adoption not long ago! This handsome bun dude named Peter also went to his furever home! He was a house bunny who lives with cats prior, and now his new besties are a squirrel and a parrot! His bun dad allows him free range of the house, and is always supervising. Safety is his new dad's priority, and he is another furry soul to love ❀️

Peter quickly made himself at home and is enjoying his days!

Back story: Peter lived with an elderly woman who was moving into housing in another state. She gave over a months notice and communicated Peter's needs. Another very responsible pet owner not abandoning, just had some unforseen circumstances arise.

Miss Wednesday met her new husbun on Sunday! It was initially a speed date to see compatability together, but they got along well within minutes. No sorts of fighting what so ever actually! Over the past few days their bond has increased and they prefer to be inseparable.

Back story: Wednesday came from a VERY loving home, her lovely pawrents just had a change in their lives, where they made the decision to allow Wednesday and her other 2 bonded mates to find a new furever home. We do not shame people for changes in circumstances, responsible pawrents make hard choices sometimes.

All 3 bunnies since coming to us have been adopted into loving homes with new bonded mates ❀️πŸ₯Ή Happy tails to every bun!

Please be patient if its taking time for us to respond. Peter rabbit will be hopping across the rainbow bridge tomorrow, please bare with us as we navigate this unimaginable decision. Please pray for a peacefull passing into the land of endless bananas, water, fields of dandelions and an eternity of forever being pain free.

We are taking the next 19 hours to make his time the bestest day ever, and we will be back soon β€οΈπŸŒˆπŸ˜“πŸ°

Sunny skies and fluffy tails! The bunnies spent the day soaking up the sun with wet ears repeatedly to keep them cool 😎 Areas redone in the barn, and barriers created for some buns who prefer privacy. 9 bunnies, 4 areas, and bunny sploofs.

It was a glorious day to be a well behaved bunny ❀️ Griffin took an adventure to the beach to touch his peets to the sand and get kisses on his head 🐰

Please note: Griffin stays near us whenever outdoors, and he's moves slow, so he cannot run fast. Be advised that your bunny matu not be this well behaved. We were also on a private beach.

50 degree day always constitutes a make shift play area outside for fresh air and fresh vegetables! A deep clean of their personal barn done while they enjoyed the sunshine!

Please also note we are on an adoption freeze until after Easter! Rabbits are GREAT pets and companions, however, for those that make spontaneous decisions to adopt because they're cute and "Easter" themed we will be on a freeze for their safety. Rabbits require attentive humans, proper care and maintenance and healthy diets.

Thank you for understanding!
