🐢 Why did the turtle cross the road?

To get a little love and care from our girl Makayla at R Vet in Laurie, of course! ❤️

This little traveler decided a parking lot was the perfect place for an adventure. Thankfully, Makayla was there to make sure our shelled friend was safe before sending them on their way. Let's show her a little love for taking care of this little one.

After a fun long weekend with all the excitement a nice summer treat for your best friend should be on the agenda.

DIY Pup-sicles Freeze low-sodium broth (or a dab of dog-safe peanut butter and water) in an ice tray for a cool, tail-wagging treat. Homemade and easy.

SUMMER SAFETY TIP:
🏊 Not every pet swims well. Supervise around pools, docks and ponds. Teach them where the exit steps are, and never assume they can climb out. 🐾

🏡 Create a "safe zone" before the fireworks begin.

Close the curtains, turn on the TV or a fan for background noise, and give your pet access to their favorite bed or crate. Familiar sounds can help reduce stress during the celebration.
