We have big dreams for the future of our shelter, and we’re SO excited about what could be possible! 🤩

Our goal is to grow bigger and better so we can give more animals the second chances they deserve. We dream of a bigger facility with more opportunities for the animals in our care, and a place where we can continue expanding our ability to help the animals and families in our community!

🐾 URGENT: BOTTLE BABY KITTEN FOSTERS NEEDED! 🍼

We are currently in need of fosters for tiny kittens who are still bottle-fed. These babies need someone willing to take them home and help with their bottle feedings until they are old enough to eat on their own ❤️

If you can open your home and heart to a bottle baby, please call the shelter or come by to fill out a foster application! Thank you so much!

Embers doggie day out!! 😊

Ember had the BEST day out, and we’re so excited to share a little glimpse of her personality. She loves kids, is good with both men and women, and apparently has a very important talent… wrapping herself up in blankets! 😆

This sweet girl would make such a wonderful addition to a family and deserves a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and part of the family.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave Ember such a happy day out! We are thankful she got to enjoy some extra love and fun! ❤️

Wow, August has been such a GREAT month for cat adoptions! 🥹🐾

We have two more sweet babies to celebrate! Judge Judy and Gary Mac (Tegor) have both been adopted and are officially off to their new homes with wonderful families.

Just look at those happy faces with their new families! We are SO excited for both of them and can’t wait to see all the love and happiness their new lives bring. 😊

Thank you to everyone who has opened their hearts and homes to shelter animals this month. Adoptions like these are exactly what we hope for! ❤️

And remember, we still have SO many amazing dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens waiting at the shelter. If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, come meet them!

The past couple of weeks have been such an amazing time for adoptions, and we are SO thrilled to see so many of our sweet fur babies finding their homes!

MK is one of those lucky girls!🩷

She is such a sweet, loving girl, and we couldn’t be happier knowing she has found a wonderful home where she will be loved and spoiled!

🐾 Our Current Needs 🐾

We wanted to share a quick update on some of our current needs at the shelter! Right now, we are in need of dog food and cat food. 🐶🐱

Happy adoption, Jaguar! 💙🐾

Our sweet boy Jaguar has officially found his forever family! We couldn’t be happier to see this little guy heading home with his new family, including some new kiddos to love and play with!

PSA!!! The shelter is now under a new Director and we are dreaming big!! One of the first things we are looking to do is transition from two mailing address' down to just one. Over the next few months we are going to try to tapper off using our P.O. Box and eventually do away with it. We will only be using our mailing address which is below. Please help us in this change and thank you all for your continued support!! Look for more changes to come....

FOSTERS NEEDED 🏡

These four pups are struggling with kennel life and would greatly benefit from spending some time in a quieter environment! Shelter life can be so hard on some of the dogs in our care, and we recognize that these sweet dogs need a foster home!

— Meet our foster hopefuls: (they are posted in order)

🐯 Tiger (estimated 1–2 years old)
She’s incredibly smart, active, and would thrive in a secure home where she can finally settle down. We call her our resident Houdini because Tiger has managed to escape every kennel we’ve put her in!

🌸 Sweetpea (approximately 9–10 months)
Still just a puppy at heart, Sweetpea is full of love and energy. She does well with other dogs but can be reactive, so slow introductions and a patient foster would be best.

🖤 Oreo (approximately 7–8 months)
Oreo is our social butterfly! He enjoys other dogs and cats and would love a home where he can stretch his legs, play, and get the attention he deserves.

🤍 Otto (approximately 9–10 months)
Otto is another young pup who is finding shelter life overwhelming. He would greatly benefit from a calm environment where he can build confidence and finally relax.

🐾 Please note: Oreo is the only one we recommend around other dogs and cats at this time. Sweetpea can do well with other dogs but is reactive and would need slow, controlled introductions.

Fostering truly saves lives. It gives these dogs a break from the stress of the shelter, helps us learn more about their personalities, and opens up kennel space for animals that have nowhere else to go!

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the perfect time. Even a short-term foster can make a world of difference for one of these deserving pups.
