Founded in 1981, the ARL is one of very few no-kill facilities in Mississippi. This means there is no time limit on adoptions of each animal. If they are not adopted, they live out their lives at the shelter.

CAFFEINE FOR A CAUSE 💙☕️

Starting June 19th - 21st, make a difference for the animals of the Laurel-Jones County Animal Rescue League!

For three days, Seven Brew in Laurel is partnering with us for their “Caffeine for a Cause” — a special pay-what-you-want event where 100% of proceeds will be donated directly to the shelter to help care for the animals who depend on us every day!

Whether you give $1, $5, $20, or more, every dollar goes toward food, medical care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need. Plus, you’ll get a delicious drink while supporting a great cause!

When he’s not running around with the zoomies, he’s a total cuddle bug who loves attention! We joke that he’s our little old man because he already looks like he’s getting gray hair—but don’t let that fool you, this boy is all puppy!

From shelter life to forever loved, this sweet boy finally got his happy ending. Atlas always had so much love to give, and we’re so excited he found a family to share it with.
