📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM DARK HORSE EQUINE!

We would like to take a moment to clarify our policy regarding pre-purchase examinations (PPEs) and ensure our clients understand the guidelines we must follow.
Under the applicable requirements governing veterinary practice in Mississippi, Dr. McNeil cannot perform a pre-purchase examination for a client who is selling a horse or for a client representing the seller in a horse sale. This includes clients who own the horse being sold or who are acting on behalf of the seller.

🐴 The good news is that we are MORE than happy to provide pre-purchase examinations for our clients who are purchasing a horse! Our goal is to help buyers make informed decisions and feel confident when evaluating a potential new equine partner.

To clarify:
✅ BUYING a horse? We are happy to help with a pre-purchase examination!
❌ SELLING a horse or representing the seller? Dr. McNeil cannot perform the pre-purchase examination for that transaction.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the professional standards and requirements that govern our practice. We value each and every one of our clients and are always happy to answer questions or help you understand your options.
