I wanted to give you all an update about some new changes coming to Snout & About!

Over the past year of running this business full-time, I’ve learned so much — especially about what it truly takes to provide consistent, high-quality care in a way that’s sustainable long term. As my schedule has filled and the business has grown, I’ve realized my current pricing structure just isn’t working the way I need it to moving forward.

I’ll be transitioning to one flat rate across the valley. Some of you may notice an increase depending on your current rate.

For all current bookings, nothing changes — any services scheduled before April will remain at your original pricing.

This adjustment allows me to continue growing thoughtfully, serve more families well, and build this community in a way that supports both you and me for the long run. It is truly always an honor to care for your animals and to be trusted in your homes.

Some of you also have custom pet sit agreements with me with unique hours/circumstances and I’ll be reaching out to you about those changes so you don’t have to guess based on the new price sheet :)

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to talk things through.

Hello pack 🤍

I’m excited to introduce Izzy — officially joining the Snout & About crew. 🐾

I’ve known Izzy for years, and she’s practically family. She’s been around animals her entire life — from dogs and cats to horses — and caring for them has always come naturally to her.

She’s starting college this year to study occupational therapy, which feels like such a perfect fit. She’s patient, steady, and genuinely attentive — qualities that matter so much when it comes to caring for your pets.

Outside of pet care, you’ll find her at a rock concert, honing her circus skills on the aerial hoop, or snuggling her own pup, Stella.

As always, any visits with Izzy will include a meet & greet beforehand so you and your pets can feel completely comfortable.

I’m really excited for you all to meet her and welcome her into our growing pack. 🤍

Hi hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a quick (and exciting!) update with you.

First, thank you so much for trusting me with your homes and your pets. I really don’t take that lightly. It means more to me than I can put into words. 🐶

I’ve reached a point where I’m getting more requests than I can personally cover on my own, and I also want to be able to say yes to more of you when you need help. So I’m starting to very slowly and carefully grow Snout & About so I can support more pups, more schedules, and more families — without changing the level of care your pets get.

Anyone who joins Snout & About is someone I know personally and truly trust — and just as important, someone I would trust with my own animals.

I also completely understand if you decide to opt out. Who you allow into your home and who you trust with your pets is incredibly personal, and I respect that 100%.

Please know this clearly: no one besides me will ever care for your pets without your explicit permission. You will always be informed ahead of time.
And for any trainee who may work with your pets, we will always do a free meet and greet first, so you can meet them in person and feel comfortable knowing exactly who will be with your babies.

You’ll be getting an updated waiver through Walkies where you can opt in to allow my new trainee, Izzy, to join your walks and help support my overnight care.

I’ll also be sharing an “about me” post for Izzy very soon so you can get to know her a little better.

Thank you again for trusting me with your animals and for supporting Snout & About as it grows. I really am so grateful for all of you. 🐾🩵💜

This holiday season, Snout & About is helping make sure no bowls — or bellies — go empty.

I’ll be collecting canned goods and pet supplies to donate to local charities, supporting both people and their pets so everyone can share in the season’s warmth. ❤️

If you have items to give, just let me know before your appointment — I’ll be happy to pick them up and add them to our donation bundle!

Together, we’re building community one snout at a time. 🐶🐱🤎

Our rescue is in urgent need of potty pads and food! We currently have 15 adorable, underage puppies in our care & 43 adult dogs, and these essential supplies are not staying stocked up long enough for us. Caring for so many animals means we're going through an incredible amount of both.

Potty pads are crucial for their house-training and keeping their living spaces clean and hygienic, while food provides the vital nutrients they need for healthy growth and development.

The good news is, with Prime Day happening right now (July 8-11!), some.of the items we need are on sale! Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in the lives of these vulnerable puppies. If you're able to help, please consider donating potty pads or wet puppy food.

Your generosity will directly impact their well-being and help us continue to provide them with the best possible start in their rescue journey.

We’re happy to share that 170 animals found loving homes over the weekend during our adoption event! ❤️

We’ve been overwhelmed with animals… but this weekend, we were overwhelmed with support.
