Big things are coming thanks to an incredible partnership with Lowe's!

For the past few weeks, we've been working with Carlos, manager at the Lowe's at Centennial Hills. After touring our facility and meeting with our team, Carlos began exploring ways he and the Lowe's team could help us create a more functional space for the people and animals we serve.

What started as a conversation has quickly grown into an exciting improvement project, and we're incredibly grateful for their enthusiasm, generosity, and willingness to help.

Once plans are finalized, the Lowe’s team will volunteer their time and talents to bring these improvements to life. From building shelves and cabinets to tackling other much-needed upgrades, their efforts will help us better support our patients, clients, and community.

If you see members of the Lowe's team hard at work around our facility, be sure to say hello and thank them! And please excuse the dust while these exciting improvements are underway.

Today, these beautiful boys, Ranger and Max, and getting full royal treatment thanks to our Romeo Fund! That means high-quality neuters, full vaccines, and a microchips! 💙

Did you know if you are on SNAP/Medicaid, you can get your dog or cat the same care for just $10-$20 at our clinic? 🐶🐱

With other clinics averaging $400-$700 for the same services, this price is no joke! 👀 Neither is the level of medical care we are proud to provide.

We are forever grateful for those supporters who help families in need provide their pets with the care they deserve.

Please microchip your pets! 🙏 It could save their life!

Anastasia, or Ana, went missing over a year ago during a family move. It happens quite often that kitties will get nervous with a lot of change! 💔

Thank goodness her family had her microchipped and kept their information up to date. We called her dad Joel, and he was in the car immediately to pick his baby up.

The Vegas streets roughed the poor girl up a bit with a toe injury and matted fur, but Joel is taking her to her regular vet right away to get her fixed up. He loves her so much. 🥹

Thank you, Joel and family, for microchipping Ana. And thank you to her loving caretaker who noticed this baby and brought her in for us to take care of. This community of cat lovers impresses us with their compassion every day! 💙

FUN FACT FRIDAY (5/29/26): After neutering, fighting between male community cats routinely drops 90%, as opposed to leaving them intact.

Cat fights are brutal. Fights between unfixed males, often over females or territory, can leave intense wounds or injuries that can lead to severe infection or disease transmission. While it may take a few months after their neuter for their hormones to lower, male cats are repeatedly observed to have decreased territorial aggression. Fights decrease around 90%, and annoying and unsanitary behaviors such as spraying or marking decrease significantly.

Let’s Spark Good! ✨

We want to thank Walmart Facility 5269 (E Silverado Ranch Blvd & Bermuda Rd) for donating $1,000 to our Romeo Fund.

Beloved family animals like Cosmo, Gumball, and Tron benefit greatly from acts of generosity like this one! 💙

Rescues, please read!

This is Opal (F) and Onyx (M)! When these two showed up to their caretaker’s house, starving and ready for love, she knew she had to step in. She entrusted them into Nathalie MyFeral Babies care, where they’re getting spayed and neutered TODAY! 🤍🐾🖤

Opal is blind, and relies on Onyx to get around. We suspect that Onyx may be Opal’s son! Because of this, they are a bonded pair and a package deal. Nathalie is currently looking for a rescue to take these sweet kitties in, so they can stay together and find their furrever home.

ATTENTION TRAPPERS: Here is the June Community Cat Calendar 🌺🌴

REMINDER: Check in for feral only days starts at 7:45 am.

🤔 Why does Availability vary?
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of the animals in our care. Staff availability plays a key role in how many kitties we can safely take in each day. On days with limited intake, it may be due to staff PTO, continuing education, or team coordination - important steps that ensure we can keep providing excellent care!

FUN FACT FRIDAY (5/22/26): The price of a spay or neuter surgery pays for itself stacked up against the average cost of raising an unwanted litter, or dealing with medical emergencies associated with reproductive systems.

Depending on where you're located in the world, a spay or neuter surgery might seem like a hefty cost. However, stacked up against the price of raising a litter or an emergency surgery, the spay or neuter basically pays for itself!

Newborn litters require around-the-clock care for weeks. Until the newborns are of age, they cannot be adopted out because of their dependence on their mother for nutrients and socialization. They'll also need routine vet visits, their vaccines, and any other medical needs addressed before they can find their forever home...and that adds up!

Even if your pet doesn't become pregnant, there are various medical risks associated with leaving your pet unfixed. For females, uterine infections like Pyometra are life threatening, painful, and come with an expensive emergency surgery. If they aren't spayed before their first heat cycle, their likelihood of mammary cancer skyrockets. For males, the risk of testicular cancer and an enlarged prostate are ever-present when they are intact. Cancer treatments and emergency surgeries add up exponentially in comparison to the price of a spay or neuter surgery.

We provide low-cost, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries to pets all over Southern Nevada. Visit our website to learn how to book today, and secure your pet's tomorrow. https://heavencanwaitlv.org/spay-neuter-clinic/
