These babies fight the summer heat hard enough in their colonies. They shouldn't have to fight it in our clinic too. 🩵

Our old A/C has kept our patients and team safe through years of brutal Las Vegas summers, but it's on its last legs and could fail at any time. 💔 Rather than risk a shutdown, we're moving fast to replace it before that happens.

Meet Chip and Amanda! 🐾 Chip is a drowsy boy soaking up some love before heading in for his neuter, and he's also getting a brand new microchip today!

That little chip means if Chip ever wanders off, it'll be so much easier to get him back into the arms of the family who loves him. Since Chip lives in unincorporated Clark County, he qualifies for a $5 microchip!

⚠️🐾 Pet Parents & Trappers, This One's Important 🐾⚠️

We're seeing an increase in feline panleukopenia (feline distemper) cases in our community, and we want to make sure everyone has the info they need to keep cats safe. 🙏

This virus is highly contagious and can spread even before a cat shows any signs of illness. The good news? It's preventable with vaccination.

If your cat has an upcoming surgery with us, we highly recommend they be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks beforehand. 💉 This gives their immune system time to build protection and helps keep every cat in our clinic safer. 💙

Please know we're taking every precaution possible to keep our clinic and all our patients safe. 🐈

‼️Community cat caretakers: if you're bringing in a cat you suspect may be showing symptoms, please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange a precautionary check-in process for them.

Buzzy is a community cat who came to us with a chronic eye infection, likely the result of an injury. 💔

His caretaker worked hard giving him medication to clear it up, but it just wouldn't budge, so our team stepped in to perform an eye removal surgery to give him lasting relief. 🐱

Sadly, cases like little Buzzy's aren't rare and they arent cheap. Our Community Cat Action Fund is what makes surgeries like this possible, and that fund runs on donations from people like you!

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of the animals in our care. Staff availability plays a key role in how many kitties we can safely take in each day. On days with limited intake, it may be due to staff PTO, continuing education, or team coordination - important steps that ensure we can keep providing excellent care!
