Throwback to when this happy Golden Retriever came to see Dr. Pizzillo for his first exam and somehow managed to leave every single one of us completely obsessed with him.

Our next and last Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is Lindsey. 🤍

Lindsey joined the Pet Health family in April 2025, first starting in our reception department before transitioning into treatment to continue pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine. She already holds her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and is currently gaining hands-on experience as she works toward her future goal of attending veterinary school.

From patient care to client communication, Lindsey consistently goes above and beyond in every role she takes on. She is detail-oriented, dependable, supportive, and always willing to help wherever needed. Whether she’s comforting nervous pets, assisting her teammates, or building meaningful relationships with pet parents, her compassion and dedication shine through every single day.

We are incredibly lucky to have Lindsey as part of the Pet Health team and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes in the future ✨🐾

Our next Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is Liz. 🤍

Liz has been back with us since November of 2025, and we could not be happier! Liz is the kind of person who consistently meets expectations… and then somehow still goes above and beyond. Her upbeat, warm, funny, and loving personality brings so much light into our hospital each day, and both our team and patients feel that immediately.

Whether she’s cuddling nervous patients, making tiny dogs feel safe tucked into her jacket, or sharing laughs with the team throughout the day, Liz leads with genuine compassion and kindness in everything she does. 🐾

What makes Liz truly special is her constant eagerness to learn, grow, and help others along the way. She is the kind of coworker, teammate, and friend everyone hopes to have — always encouraging those around her and stepping in wherever she is needed. Her generosity is never overlooked, especially in the thoughtful ways she cares not only for our patients, but also for our doctors and support staff.

Our next Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is on Danielle. 🤍

Since coming back to join the Pet Health in August of 2025, Danielle has been a strong, reliable, and consistent presence within our hospital. Her intelligence, knowledge, and calm demeanor make her someone both our team and patients can always count on.

With experience not only as a Veterinary Assistant, but also as a technician in out-of-state hospitals, Danielle brings a wide range of skills and understanding to patient care. No matter where she is needed, she approaches every task with confidence, dedication, and a steady work ethic that helps keep our days running smoothly.

Danielle’s calm and dependable nature helps pets feel safe and supported, whether she’s caring for giant puppies, snuggling tiny babies, or helping guide patients through their visits with patience and compassion. 🐾

Our next Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is on Vicky. 🤍

Since joining Pet Health on 07/31/2023, Vicky has continuously shown what it means to be diligent, supportive, and resilient. No matter what kind of day it is, she always shows up ready to give her all to our team, our patients, and our pet parents.

Even through injuries or challenges, Vicky never lets anything stop her from being proactive and finding ways to help keep our hospital running smoothly and efficiently. Her dedication, teamwork, and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Beyond her hard work, Vicky brings such a fun, bubbly, and carefree energy to our hospital. Our next Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is on Madison. 🤍

Since joining Pet Health in December of 2022, Madison has become known for her dedication, kindness, and ability to make both pets and people feel instantly comfortable and loved. Whether she’s kissing puppies, cuddling nervous patients on the floor, supporting our reception team, deep cleaning, or going above and beyond for pet parents (the list goes on), Madison is always giving her all! 💯

Her connection with animals is something truly special, and the compassion and love she shows every patient shine through in every interaction. If there’s a corgi in the building, there’s a good chance Madison has already called dibs on the appointment or fallen in love with it. 🐶

Outside of work, her love for animals continues far beyond the hospital walls. Madison spends much of her personal time helping care for farm or stray animals, whether it be birds, bunnies, horses, or any creature in need, really. She is often the first person willing to step in, help nurse an animal back to health, and make sure they feel safe and cared for!

Madison is also currently attending tech school, reflecting her constant desire to learn, grow, and further improve the care she provides to our patients. Her drive, teamwork, and willingness to help, learn, or teach wherever needed never go unnoticed!

These moments are just a glimpse into the love and joy she brings to Pet Health every single day. 🐾

Our first Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week spotlight is on our Head Veterinary Assistant, Nat! 🩺

Since joining Pet Health in April of 2021, Nat has become such an important part of our hospital and the longest-standing VA on our team. Her warmth, humor, compassion, charisma, and dedication shine through in every patient interaction and every connection she builds with our pet parents and team members.

Whether she’s comforting nervous pets with treats and cuddles, sitting on the floor beside them, wrapping them in warm blankets, or celebrating their wins right alongside their families, Nat cares for every patient as if they were her own.

These moments throughout the years are just a small glimpse into the love she pours into her work each day — and we are endlessly grateful for everything she does for our team, our clients, and our patients. 🐾
