What’s in Bing, Zo & Olivia’s breakfast bowls? 🥚🐾
My Frenchies range from 26–30 pounds, and I feed their largest meal in the morning: one full Smallbatch raw patty for breakfast and approximately half a patty in the evening, adjusted to each dog’s weight, activity level and body condition.
Today’s bowls include:
🥩 Smallbatch Raw — the complete-and-balanced foundation, made with meat, organs, bone and whole-food ingredients.
🥚 ½ soft-boiled egg each — a whole-food source of highly digestible protein, healthy fats and essential nutrients.
🥛 One frozen raw goat-milk cube each — adds moisture and variety to the bowl.
🌾 A small amount of psyllium husk — a soluble fiber used to support digestive regularity and healthy stool quality.
🌿 A small amount of spirulina — a nutrient-dense whole-food addition containing protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
I prefer giving supplements with their larger morning meal, and I keep it simple—no more than three targeted supplements at one time. More is not always better!
The only part of our rotation not pictured is their 5% fish portion. They received their fish yesterday, so we’re taking a break from it today. Because Smallbatch is already complete and balanced, everything added is intentional—not an attempt to “fix” an incomplete food.
Nutrition should be individualized, consistent and based on the dog in front of you. This is what currently works beautifully for Bing, Zo and Olivia. 💚
