Stop choosing them, they’re not choosing you. You keep giving them your time, your energy, your heart, and for what? To be met with silence, with half-hearted effort, with nothing close to what you deserve. It’s a hard pill to swallow, realizing you’re the only one trying, but that’s the truth. You can’t keep holding on to someone who’s not reaching back. It’s not love if it’s one-sided—it’s just you fighting a battle they’ve already walked away from. Stop breaking your own heart by waiting for them to choose you, because if they wanted to, they would have by now. Choose yourself instead, because that’s the choice that’s long overdue.✨
