Weβre excited to introduce Dr. Alex Aubrecht to our surgical team!
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Aubrecht joins us after completing his residency at UC Davis. He has a special interest in orthopedic and minimally invasive surgery, including arthroscopy, a technique that allows surgeons to evaluate and treat joint conditions through small incisions using a specialized camera and instruments.
Dr. Aubrecht performs arthroscopic procedures involving the shoulder, elbow, hip, stifle, and hock. These procedures can help address conditions such as osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), medial coronoid disease, and meniscal injuries, offering minimally invasive options for patients who may benefit from them.
Minimally invasive surgery is an exciting part of our growing surgical program. With multiple surgeons now offering these techniques, weβre continuing to expand the advanced surgical options available to pets and their families right here in Las Vegas.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Aubrecht enjoys traveling and spending time with his shepherd.
