To remain transparent.
We have discontinued our work with Nose For Success (service dog training).
Rafiki was reclaimed by them May 22nd, and they have since fully ghosted us not only for pay (totaling over $5,000) but also for standard care items (food, treats etc.)
There has been no follow up contact from them to us, even after continued attempts, on our end, to reach them; via phone, one number disconnected the other goes straight to voicemail but VM box hasn’t been set up, emails go unreturned, and lastly chat via slack app which was their preferred method.
We’ve got all the receipts for attempted contact, continued issue with non-payment, and what we’re guessing was a fake payroll rep email.
Because of all of this, we reached out to the breeder and will be returning Tova to their care.
*They commented on a post a while back and we were able to connect that way.
I want to say THANK YOU to those who sent food and funds for the purchase of her food while she remained with us, til the end of her stay (today).
Although I will miss Tova and am thoroughly disappointed in the way things played out, I will continue my work with dogs and hopefully turn this new found interest into a way to benefit shelter dogs.
