Final Day at the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) — and we’re heading home feeling inspired, sharpened, and ready to put everything into action. 🐾

Today’s focus was heavy on advanced radiology interpretation, strengthening our ability to identify subtle changes earlier and with greater accuracy. Earlier detection means earlier intervention — and better outcomes.

We also spent time diving into cardiovascular disease, emphasizing early diagnosis, preventative strategies, and updated treatment approaches that help us manage heart conditions more proactively.

In addition, we reviewed anesthetic protocols and recovery best practices, reinforcing patient safety from induction through full recovery. Even the “routine” procedures deserve the highest level of attention and precision — and that’s exactly what we strive for.

Continuing education allows us to refine our skills, stay current with evolving medicine, and ensure we’re delivering the highest standard of care to our community. To our clients, colleagues, and followers — thank you for trusting us to keep growing.

Day 2 at the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) — and we’re bringing even more knowledge home to our patients and community. 🐾

Today’s sessions focused on some truly exciting and impactful topics in modern veterinary medicine:

✨ Immunotherapy advancements — We explored how immunotherapy first developed in human medicine has successfully transitioned into veterinary care. New immunology-based treatments are now being used as adjunct therapies for certain cancers and chronic diseases, helping improve outcomes and extend quality time with our patients.

🚑 Basic CPR guidelines — Reviewing current, evidence-based CPR protocols ensures our team is prepared to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. Staying current on these standards can make all the difference when seconds matter.

🔐 Controlled substance management — We reinforced best practices for safe handling, storage, and compliance. Maintaining strict protocols protects our patients, our team, and our community.

🦴 Targeting osteoarthritis (OA) early — Early recognition and proactive management of OA symptoms can significantly improve long-term mobility and comfort, especially in senior pets. New multimodal treatment strategies continue to evolve, giving us more tools than ever before.
