🐾 Important Pharmacy Update from Sahara Animal Hospital 🐾

Starting 🗓️November 1, 2026, online prescription requests must be submitted through our MyVetStoreOnline store. We will no longer accept prescription requests through outside online pharmacies.

This change helps us maintain greater confidence in the sourcing, handling, storage, packaging, and shipping of the veterinary products we recommend. Our trusted distributor supplies veterinary products directly to hospitals in the Las Vegas Valley.

Our online store also offers convenient 🏡📦home delivery, with free shipping on most orders!

We understand that changing pharmacies can be frustrating. If you prefer to use another pharmacy, please contact our office. We can prepare a written prescription for you to pick up and take to the pharmacy of your choice.

Our team is happy to answer questions and help make this transition as smooth as possible. Our goal is to provide trusted products, easier communication, and continued support for your pet’s health, safety, and well-being. ❤️🐾

Long nails aren’t just a cosmetic issue—they can become uncomfortable and even painful for our pets. 🐾 If you hear clicking on hard floors, notice nails curling, or see a change in the way your pet walks, it may be time for a trim. Most pets benefit from nail trims every 3–6 weeks, depending on their nail growth and activity level. Keeping those nails at a healthy length helps support comfortable movement and happy paws! ❤️

🐾 BEHIND THE SCENES AT SAHARA ANIMAL HOSPITAL 🩺❤️

What you don’t always see when you bring your pet through our doors is everything that happens in between the appointments.

Behind every exam is a team taking the time to listen, observe, and make sure your pet is comfortable. Behind every vaccination is careful preparation, proper handling, and a whole lot of reassurance. And behind the medical care are plenty of hugs, kisses, silly moments, and yes… the occasional selfie. 📸🐶🐱

A veterinary visit isn’t just about treating illness. Routine physical examinations help us monitor your pet’s overall health, identify changes that may otherwise go unnoticed, and establish a baseline for future visits. Preventive care, including recommended vaccinations, is another important part of helping protect pets from infectious diseases.

But we also know something just as important: your pet has to feel safe with us. ❤️

So sometimes the exam includes a little extra love. Sometimes it means giving them a minute to relax. Sometimes it means turning a medical moment into a photo-op because they’re just too cute not to. 🥰

These behind-the-scenes moments are a small glimpse into what we get to experience every day — caring for your pets with the same patience, compassion, and attention we would want for our own.
