Cats not eating can cause some BIG problems! šŸšØ
Thankfully, Ceceā€™s mom noticed that her appetite was a little decreased and brought her in to see us right away. Because she acted quickly, we were able to get Cece the treatments and medications she needed to help her feel better and get her back on her way home.
Cats can be masters at hiding when they donā€™t feel well, so even small changes in appetite or behavior are worth paying attention to.
If your pet isnā€™t eating, seems less active, or just isnā€™t acting like themselves, donā€™t wait to bring them in. Trust your gut ā€” you know your pet best!
Weā€™re here to help after hours and on weekends, because pets donā€™t always choose convenient times to get sick.

Kiki, our strawberry blonde goddess, came to see us! āœØšŸ“

Kiki came in because she was experiencing some urinary issues and, while she was not exactly a fan of us, we understood that she was scared and uncomfortable.

With a little patience, some extra TLC, and Momā€™s help, we were able to ease Kikiā€™s anxiety and fear enough to give her the care she needed. šŸ’•šŸ¾

If your pet is experiencing something out of the ordinary, donā€™t wait and hope it goes away. Changes in behavior, bathroom habits, appetite, or comfort can be signs that something isnā€™t right.

Weā€™re here after hours and on weekends to help get your pets feeling better ā€” and to help you feel better, too!

šŸ¾ Miss Bella came in with a very painful eye.
If your pet is squinting, rubbing at their eye, or has swelling around the eye, donā€™t wait it out. Eye problems can be painful and may need prompt attention.
We have eye tests that can help us look for several different eye concerns, so we can determine whatā€™s going on, start appropriate treatment, and help get you and your pet back home to rest easy.
And remember ā€” weā€™re here after hours and on weekends when those unexpected pet emergencies happen.
If something doesnā€™t look right with your petā€™s eyes, give us a call. Weā€™re here to help! šŸ¾

Their athletic abilities are impressive, but even expert jumpers can have the occasional misstep.šŸ¾

Whatā€™s the most impressive place your cat has managed to jump to? šŸ‘€

If your cat suddenly seems reluctant to jump, is limping, or isnā€™t moving like their usual self, it may be worth a closer look. Changes in mobility can sometimes signal an injury or other health concern.

If your cat needs care for an unexpected injury or illness, UrgentVet is here to help with urgent care when you need it. šŸ’™

Sometimes the best part of the day is seeing the world through their eyes. šŸ¾

For Team Member Marie, one of those moments was spending a little extra time with Clover. Taking a moment to slow down, connect, and build trust can make all the difference, especially when a vet visit feels unfamiliar.

At UrgentVet, we believe caring for pets is about more than treating an illness or injury. Itā€™s about helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. ā¤ļø

This week we had the pleasure of meeting not one, but TWO adorable black kittens! We always do our best to make every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible ā€” especially for our youngest patients. šŸ„°

Young pets have many vet visits ahead of them, and we want them to learn that going to the vet doesnā€™t have to be scary. Building positive experiences early can make a big difference! šŸ’™

Sweet Enchilada came in because he was squinting his eye, and he was such a brave little guy throughout his visit. šŸ¾ We loved helping him feel comfortable while we checked him out!

If your pet gets nervous at the vet, donā€™t let that stop you from getting them the care they need. We have species-specific exam rooms and techniques designed to help keep stress as low as possible for every patient.

Mesmerizing eyes arenā€™t just cuteā€”theyā€™re incredible tools! šŸ±

A catā€™s eyes are specially designed to help them see in low light, judge distance, and track movement, making them skilled little hunters. Their unique vision is just one of the many things that makes cats so fascinating. ā¤ļø

At UrgentVet, we love helping pet parents learn more about the pets they love and keeping their furry family members feeling their best.

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to planā€”just ask Maggie! šŸ

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful selfā€”just the way we like to see our patients. šŸ’™

When your pet's timing is a little... ruff, UrgentVet is here to help them get back to feeling their best.
