Four riders. Four tricolor ribbons. Classic and derby podiums. And one very proud dad. 🤍

Cheri, Joni, Samantha & Kacie safe to say it was a pretty good week for this crew!!!

Proud of the rides, the results, and even more proud of the work that got them there. Of course proud of the horses that showed up and showed off all week!

But the best part will always be this — cheering just as hard for each other as we do for ourselves. The ribbons are fun, but this little barn family is the real win 🥇 ❤️👏🏻🫶

A day late because apparently calendars are hard. 🤦🏻‍♀️🫣But we could never miss celebrating our Samantha!

Happy SWEET 16 to one of the kindest, funniest, most genuinely wonderful humans we know. Sam is an exceptional horseman, a fierce competitor, an incredible teammate, and someone who brings so much laughter and joy to our barn family.

We love watching you grow, Sam — not just into the rider you’re becoming, but into the person you are. We are so lucky to know you. ❤️

Happy 16th birthday, Super Sammy! 🦹🏻‍♀️And please accept our official apology for the calendar mix-up. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Tell the truth, how many of you watched to the end? 🤣👇

Me: “You can’t post your new horse until we have something worthy to post…”

Grace “Hold my juice box…” (swipe to see 👀)

Proceeds to win the Welcome West Palms Events their second day showing together after just 4 rides prior to that. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A little late to get on the IG but congratulations are in order to Grace Wahlberg on her lease of Ilan Ferder Stables Damocles From Second Life Z. Thank you Ilan & Savannah for a perfect match & very simple & professional dealing.

What a fun year we have ahead.

The horse has always been the point. 🤍

The team is bigger than the people in the saddle. 🤍

It’s easy to see the riders, the trainers, the grooms (the people in the ring). But behind every rider is a family who is every bit as much a part of the team.

They’re the early mornings and late nights. The rides to the barn, the travel, the logistics, the cheering from the rail. They’re there for the wins, the hard rounds, the disappointments, the breakthroughs, and all the ordinary days in between.

They trust us with their people. They support the dream. They make sacrifices most people will never see. And more often than not, they become family to us along the way.

At Hunters Edge, our team has never just been the people who ride or coach. It’s the families standing behind them, beside them, and cheering them on.

Because none of us do this alone. And the best teams are built by a whole lot of people pulling in the same direction. ❤️

We have a limited number of openings for those wishing to join our team. Reach out to learn more.

Congratulations Beyaert Farm Inc. on their purchase of Rosecroft Lucky Girl aka Lola. We hope she brings your program as much as she did ours.

Thank you to the Casas family for trusting us with the sale of your pony, we wish you the best of luck on your new adventure in Texas!

We love a blue ribbon as much as anyone. 🏆 But it will never be the thing that matters most.

We care about the rider who stays late to help. The one who learns their horse inside and out. The one who can take instruction, own a mistake, cheer just as loudly for a teammate, and handle a win with the same character they handle a loss.

Because this sport gives us an opportunity to teach so much more than how to ride a horse.

It teaches responsibility. Resilience. Humility. Work ethic. Compassion. Horsemanship.

Of course we want our riders to be successful in the ring. But more importantly, we want to be proud of who they are outside of it.

The ribbons will eventually end up in a box somewhere.

The person you become along the way stays with you. 🤍

This duo is on fire 🔥

Samantha received Champion 1.30 jr/am on her mount Murdock and Reserve Champion 1.30 jr/am on Figuier Du Roc!

Gracie taking championships in the 1.40 on both Zeppelin Blue & Tippy Z and Reserve Champion in the 1.30 on Lechinto Z!
