Surgery Residency ✔️
Many years of hard work led to this moment, and the feeling is even better than I imagined. The journey has been full of unforgettable stories, challenges that pushed me to grow and friendships that have become family.
To my entire family, thank you for the support, the understanding, the sacrifices and excitement as you celebrated every milestone with me. Kiara N. Olivencia - the rock, the planner and gatekeeper of the family: we did it our way and conquered another milestone together!
To my mentors thank you for the willingness, patience and for challenging me to become the best version of myself. I am forever grateful for the opportunity.
To my resident-mates & interns I have learned from all of you and can’t describe the impact that you guys had on me.
To all the nurses, the POM group (you know who you are 😉) and every member of the staff I had the privilege of working with- you will be greatly missed. Thank you for always having my back throughout this journey. It’s hard to imagine not seeing you all every day.
And finally, to that kid who dreamed of becoming a veterinary surgeon: talent can open doors, but dedication is what gets you across the finish line. Never stop working to become better than you were yesterday.
