Crookk9

Crookk9 I know there are a lot of people out there who want a more rewarding relationship with their dogs. I

I want to be as versatile a trainer as I can be and bring as much knowledge as I can to each client. The satisfaction of seeing the evolution in both the handler and the canine is quite rewarding. To know that I had a hand in that development reminds of those who have shared their knowledge with me. Dogs are astounding creatures, to work with them humbles and inspires me.

This is Max. He came back to me for some additional training as his owner has a restaurant here in Las Vegas and he wanted Max, who is a very social Shepherd to be able to deliver the Bill to the table when the patrons are finished eating at his owners restaurant… This clip was taken just before his return Here he is carrying the billfold not mouthing it which can be difficult to differentiate for a dog. It is not a toy and he has to be able to hold it even when there’s excitement around him which he is doing very well. ….Gave him a sit pretty trick at the end which we named “proud”,. This is an excellent dog with a beautiful temperament. He was a pleasure to work with and I know his owner is very proud of him. .

One of the fun aspects of being attached to a K9 unit is the relationships… Here’s a great team and we were just having some fun with control work doing a short send out asking for a forward down, recalling back to heel and then releasing to the toy… Remember, don’t do too many repetitions in a row or you will create hesitation in the dog as he begins to anticipate being called back, this is K9 Guason

Haven’t posted in a while been busy with training obligations and studying with my mentors… Here is a new team anchored by a seasoned handler, here we are using the wall in order to get K9Duke to articulate his spine in a tighter Space to encourage a cleaner heel position… Looking forward to watching this team thrive

So the walker scars the concrete flooring that we have in the house therefore my wife found specially cut tennis balls to place on the legs of the walker to mitigate that problem maybe you can see the consequence that that is going to create for a drive-y Dutch shepherd as I move around the house case in point… Dogs
