What is your favorite thing about working at Dogtopia?
I’ve been a dog parent for most of my life, so getting the opportunity to work with dogs is honestly pretty awesome! I love meeting each dog, learning their personality, and most importantly earning their trust. There’s nothing better than when a dog finally warms up to you and you know you’ve made a new furry friend!

What do you do for fun outside of work?
When I’m not hanging out with the pups, you can usually find me in the kitchen cooking something good or watching sports.

Do you have any pets?
I’m also a proud dog parent to my two babies, Juelz, my bully, and Jyro, my Chihuahua. They definitely keep me on my toes!

I’m excited to continue meeting new dogs, building relationships with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Meet Newton, our friendly, cuddly Toy Box Dog of the Week! 🐶🧡

At home, Newton loves cuddling, chewing on his toys, following his family from room to room, and enthusiastically greeting his neighbors. And when dinner rolls around, you can find him patiently waiting for a treat from the table! 🥰

Newton’s name has not one, but two perfect meanings! His original apricot coloring reminded his family of a Fig Newton, and his observant, analytical personality made Sir Isaac Newton an equally fitting namesake!

One of the things his family loves most about Newton is his open and friendly nature. He gets along with everyone he meets and is always ready to make a new friend! 🥹🧡

And if Newton were a movie character, he’d be Chewbacca! 🎬😂
