Striped Skunk (Mephitis mephitis) and Rubber Boa (Charina bottae). Caught on game camera by Tim Torell. We suspect the skunk bit the snakes tail causing the snake to coil around the skunks neck to avoid having its head bitten! Wow!

This encounter was published in the March 2021 issue of Herpetological Review as a Natural History Note.

Planning on shipping this beauty and a couple other packages tomorrow, weather and FedEx permitting. 🤞🏼 parting with the animals hasn’t been easy. It’s fun to look back on what’s been done and see the beginnings of projects and the excitement and anticipation of them at the time and then seeing the fruits of it in some of them. This is an awesome hobby and an even better learning experience. Still hard to say goodbye but I’d love to see a thread in the comments of animals you’ve gotten from us and see where there at now. Hopefully people who’ve purchased or received one follow us on these platforms. Here’s to having a great 2022!

The news is out! will be taking over starting tomorrow. Im so glad the whole collection is going to one breeder. Lots of the projects I’ve been working on for years will now be in her care. Including the super reduced GX Paints, the crazy Calicos, Thermo Nuclear line, and many other projects that are yet still in progress 😏.
