Remembering the Heroes on Four Legs 🐾🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, search-and-rescue dogs walked into the wreckage without hesitation — offering comfort, hope, and unwavering courage when the world needed it most.

Today we honor them all — the human heroes who ran toward danger, the lives we lost, and the four-legged companions who carried light into the darkest days.
🐕 Never forget. 🕯️

🎂🐾 Happy 13th Birthday, Shay! 🐾🎂
Shay came in today for her Librela injection, but she also came bearing gifts! Her pet parent shared a beautiful tradition: on her own birthday and on Shay's, instead of receiving gifts, she loves to give them. This year, Dr. Wagner was the lucky recipient of this gorgeous framed artwork celebrating the bond between people and their animals.
Happy birthday, sweet girl — here's to many more! 💕

🎆 The 4th of July is just around the corner — and for many pets, it's the most stressful night of the year. 🐾
Fireworks can trigger real fear and anxiety in our four-legged family members. The good news? There's a lot we can do to help — but timing matters!
⏰ Don't wait until July 3rd. Medications and calming plans take time to prepare, and we want your pet comfortable BEFORE the first boom goes off.

📞 Call or text us TODAY to talk about options for your noise-phobic pet. Whether it's prescription medication, calming supplements, or tips to create a safe space at home.

There's nothing quite like a mama's love — and Sarah Beth's mom captured it beautifully. 🐾
When this sweet little chihuahua came in for her spay, her mom was there with camera in hand. From the car ride in to cuddles on the way home, every moment was documented with so much love.
We are so honored to care for patients like Sarah Beth and to support the families who love them. She did wonderfully, and we couldn't be prouder! ✨

🎓 It's graduation season — a time to celebrate new beginnings, bright futures, and the dreams that set us on our paths.
This year holds a special milestone for our VegasPet family: it marks 20 YEARS since Dr. Wagner crossed the stage at Colorado State University with her veterinary degree in hand.
And judging by the smile on her mom's face in this photo, she wasn't the only one who'd been waiting for that moment. 💙
We're pretty sure neither of them were picturing a little animal hospital in Las Vegas at that moment — We're pretty sure she wasn't picturing VegasPet at that moment — but here we are, and we wouldn't have it any other way. 🐾✨💙
Two decades of compassionate care, late nights, wagging tails, purring patients, and some sweat and tears later, we're so proud of everything she's built — and so grateful to share it with this community.
To every grad out there - Congratulations! 🎉

🌼 Ah, spring — warmer days, blooming flowers, and allergy season for our pets! 🐕🐈
Just like us, our four-legged family members can feel the effects of seasonal changes. *** Any cough in a cat should be investigated, as cats rarely cough without an underlying health issue.*** Drop a 🐶 or 🐱 below if your pet struggles with spring allergies — you're not alone, and we're here to help! 💙
