100% Het ChoCho. When recessive projects became part of my collection, I knew I wanted to build projects that flowed naturally and aligned with the direction I was already heading. Anytime I consider adding a gecko, I ask myself one question: “Can I pair this gecko to my entire collection?”

The first clutch of the newest generation in my Blood Orange line is finally here… 🤯🔥

I’m beyond proud of how far this project has evolved over the years through selective pairings, phenotype outcrossing, and countless experiments to reach this milestone. Seeing the consistency and intensity coming through now makes every step worth it. What makes this even crazier? This entire project started with Kona, a locally found “possible” Capp that set fire for everything you’re seeing today.

I’m STILL hyped on Cappuccinos and seeing just how far they’ve come since the early days of working with them when the morph was first introduced and “possibles” were still a thing. This guy is essentially the direction I’m aiming for with my Blood Orange line… but who doesn’t love a dark cup of coffee? ☕️🔥

Accidents happen… I didn’t plan on producing this dark Phantom Porthole het Super Stripe girl or even consider Kaizer being het. He’s sired dozens of offspring and has only ever produced two Phantoms, both from last season.

Still on the fence about working with dark Phantoms… but this girl, even not fully fired up, has me second guessing 🤷🏻🤣

With new morphs being discovered and current ones continuing to evolve, ChoCho wasn’t something I planned on adding to the collection for a couple more seasons… but here we are 😂🤦🏻

This Visual ChoCho is part of a group I have tracked from distant bloodlines — all from different breeders, selectively chosen for their traits. Same plan, just a different recipe.

Holy Smokes × Sariya really delivered with their hets last season — exactly what I needed for the AX project I’m building from the ground up.
