Mom said Dumpling was terrified of nail trims. She even brought a grooming hammock because it usually takes two people to hold her still.

Plot twist… the hammock stayed in the bag. 🤣

Dumpling melted into my arms like the sweetest little dumpling, watched me trim and grind every nail, and didn’t fuss once.

No hard handling fee. Mom came prepared for a battle. Dumpling came prepared for a cuddle. 🥟💕

POV: The biggest drama during her first groom… 🪰😂

Rio is 8 months old, and this was her very first grooming appointment. She slept through almost the entire experience. The only thing that woke her up? A fly. 😴

Why does dog grooming cost more than a human haircut?

Here’s one reason. 😂

This little guy wasn’t being “bad.” Some dogs hump during grooming because they’re nervous, overwhelmed, or trying to regain a little sense of control.

Every dog is different, and part of our job is helping them feel safe while we work. ❤️🐶
