The crew at Major Wildlife Studio did a fantastic job at the 2026 New Mexico Taxidermy Association show in Red River this past weekend.

We are very proud of three of our taxidermists who competed.

Benny Madrid placed second in the Professional Division for his Texas Nilgai pedestal on a custom base.

He also won first place in the Live Mounting Competition with an Aoudad.

Beau Talbot took his Life Size Dall Sheep and won Best of Category in Masters Life Size, the Masters Taxidermist Challenge, and the Artisan Award.

He also placed first in Masters Life Size.

Wyatt Major placed second in the Professional Division for his Pronghorn; the habitat base won first place in the habitat division.

He also won Taxidermist Choice Best Game Head.

We are very proud of the awards Major Wildlife Studio brought home.

Thank you to the family members who made the trip to support our taxidermists.
