A group of duck hunters discussing plans for opening day. 😆

Mixed reports. Hope your hunts were successful and safe. Sky busting cripples birds and educates flocks.. let em work.

A note from the inside…

It was suggested that an energetic young golden be brought to me for training. It didn’t take long to realize he possessed real talent..
I questioned at times if talent was all that possessed him, but he never lacked desire.
Ranger’s journey took him thru the hunt test program, on to field trials and filled the in betweens with pheasant, ducks and geese.
My part in the journey was fundamental, but over the years a text or phone call would come in reporting on various milestones.
The text yesterday wasn’t expected. Ranger’s journey had come to an end. Cancer has taken way too many, all of them too soon.
I’m humbled to have played a small part in the memories.
My condolences to those who loved him.
He now lives forever if only in the heart.

Good food, Great people, Awesome dog!😉

🦆🎯 DUCK HUNTERS, THIS ONE’S FOR YOU! 🎯🦆

It’s opening weekend! That means alarm clocks going off at an ungodly hour, coffee by the gallon, and everyone suddenly becoming an expert at identifying ducks from 200 yards away. 😂

After you’ve been sitting in the blind freezing your 🍑 off, come thaw out at Lakeside Market! ☕️🍳🥓

Whether you got your limit or just came home with a really good story about the one that got away… we’ve got a hot meal waiting for you.

🦆 Ducks: hopefully in the boat.
🎯 Aim: questionable.
☕ Coffee: mandatory.
🍳 Post Hunt Meal: absolutely necessary.

Good luck, hunters! Be safe, shoot straight, and we’ll see you after the hunt! 🦆🇺🇸 Located right across the street from Blue Top Resort

UPDATE. RIP HAS BEEN PLACED.

Webshire has long been recognized as breeders of quality Golden retrievers. One of our puppy buyers found themselves in a situation where a re-homing was necessary.
Rip is a year old, intact male. He has been obedience trained, collar conditioned, ff and can perform basic hunting skills on land and water.
He is priced accordingly. We are looking for a special home, for a special dog. If you think this is you.. call or email now!!

Katie takes pride in serving our community. No doubt we are stronger together because of her service. She has made Webshire stronger due to her service.. beginning 26 years ago today.
She is most definitely an integral part of the Webshire family.
Happy anniversary Kate.
