🐾 Our animals need your help! 🐾

SPCA Tampa Bay is currently in need of donations to help keep our shelter pets comfortable, happy, and healthy.
We're looking for:
🦴 Soft dog treats
🦴 Medium-hard dog treats
🧺 Towels, flat bed sheets (not fitted), and pillowcases
🧻 Paper towels
🎾 Cat and dog toys
Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in the lives of the animals in our care. Your generosity helps us provide comfort, enrichment, and daily care to pets waiting for their forever homes.

Our animals go through a lot of linens every day, and we need your help! 🐾

SPCA Tampa Bay is currently in need of gently used sheets, towels, pillowcases, and other linens for the animals in our care at our Largo shelter campus.

These donations help keep our dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other shelter pets comfortable while they wait for loving homes.

If you have unwanted linens taking up space in your home, consider giving them a second life by donating them to the shelter. Every donation makes a difference!

Donations can be dropped off at our Largo campus during regular business hours. Thank you for helping us provide comfort and care to the animals who need it most. ❤️

Meet Cesar!

Cesar is a 5-year-old lovebug who is looking for a family to call his own. This friendly boy absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be part of whatever his humans are doing. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or relaxing together at home, Cesar is happiest when he’s spending time with his favorite people.

One of Cesar’s favorite activities is going for walks, and he’s always excited for an opportunity to get out and explore. He is also crate trained and settles well in his crate, though he may let out a few cries when separated from his people—he just loves being close to those he cares about! His foster parent also said he is house and crate trained and he knows sit, stay, and wait! He's one smart little angel.

Cesar recently underwent specialized surgery to repair a torn cruciate ligament in his leg. The good news is that he is healing beautifully and is already bearing weight on the leg again! While he’s feeling great, he still has some recovery ahead of him to ensure the best possible outcome. His adopters will receive detailed post-operative instructions and support to help set him up for continued success.

Cesar is ready to find a family that will love him as much as he loves people. If you think this sweet boy could be the perfect addition to your home, give us a call! Since Cesar is currently staying in a foster home, interested adopters will need to provide their contact information so we can coordinate a meet-and-greet with him.

His foster parent reached out today to give me an update, and this is what she had to say:
"Cesar is a literal angel! If it's helpful for his listing on the site, he is both crate trained and house trained. He knows sit, stay, wait. He doesn't bark or jump and he just wants to be near you. He's practically perfect!"

We want to give a huge shoutout to some of the Jungle Terrace team from Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille for spending the past two Mondays volunteering their time to help enhance our campus!

Thanks to Doc Ford's sponsorship, we now have a new sensory garden that provides dogs with new scents to smell and explore.

The team also worked hard to spread fresh bark around our Education Building, helping make our campus even more welcoming for visitors and pets alike.

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to making a positive impact in our community!

Some had been waiting weeks—or even months—to find their families. Today, they're sleeping in loving homes, making new memories, and starting the next chapter of their lives.
