Loving Care Animal Hospital has been serving the greater Largo area's pet lovers for over twenty years. During that time, we have consistently been known for providing quality care and making it accessible to all families. Our mission is to help all pet owning families provide the loving care their pets deserve. In 2009, Dr. Richard Dinon purchased Loving Care Animal Hospital, and has strived to k

eep these traditions alive, but at the same time elevating the level of service, medicine, and compassion to the highest possible. During this time, we have become a full-service veterinary hospital and have added innovations such as advanced anesthetic monitoring programs, microchipping, ultrasound, and wellness care to keep our patients safe, healthy, and happy. These, and many other great new changes have been made, all while holding on to the ideal that this compassionate standard of care should be available to every single one of our patients and pet owners. At Loving Care Animal Hospital, we are also proud to say that since our beginnings, we have been the sole veterinary office of both the Pinellas County Sherriff's Office and Largo Police Department's K9 Officer Units. We continue to provide care to these vital officers so that they can safely and effectively keep our community free from crime and a great place to live. As a service to these heroes, we offer free lifetime care for retired K9 officers of all police agencies, and truly believe that this isn't nearly enough to thank these officers for their daily sacrifice. We urge all of our friends and clients to thank these heroes by donating to charities that support them.

This sweet girl, Nami, just had her second visit with us! She is an adorable 11 week old domestic short hair who received her first round of vaccines today since her skin is all better! Even after her vaccine she wanted to wish everyone a great weekend!!!

It's that time again for our Pet of the Week! This week's star is Silvey because who doesn't love an adorable kitten!? She is 9 weeks old and had her first round of vaccines today! She purred during the entire visit and all of the girls adored her! Welcome, Silvey and happy Saturday!

Miss Tiny Bubbles had her first visit with us on Friday and she stole all of the girls' hearts!!! Tiny Bubbles is a 16 week old chihuahua who has the sweetest little personality! Welcome to the family, Tiny Bubbles! Have a great weekend!!!

🐾 🐶 Little Miss Coconut had her first appointment with Dr. Richard this week and she is such a ball of fluff!!! She is an 11 week old Golden Doodle and has the sweetest personality! We all wish everyone a safe and great weekend! 🥰🐾

🐾 It is that time of the week again! Happy Saturday from this adorable guy! He had his first visit with us yesterday and everyone was so excited to love on him! Puppy is a 10 week old German Wirehaired Pointer who has the best beard coming in!
According to the AKC, " In the 1800s, when hunting breeds were being developed all over Europe, breeders in England decided to breed specialist dogs. The continental Europeans took a different approach, developing all-round hunters that could work many types of game on any terrain. German Wirehaired Pointers are a great example of such a flexible breed that can perform many tasks. GWPs can do it all and are adept at searching for and pointing different types of game, whether it’s birds or mammals, fearlessly hunting game and retrieving birds from the water, all while still being loving companions and watchdogs." 🥰🐾
