A huge thank you to everyone who shared our previous post about the bottle puppies. We’ve had a wonderful response from the community and several people have stepped up to help. ❤️

However, we still have 6 bottle puppies in need of foster homes, and they need placement TODAY.

If you're interested in fostering, please stop by the shelter as soon as possible or call us for more information.

To become a foster, all you need is:
🐶 Be 18 years or older
* Still offering triple hours for high school community hours.
🆔 A valid ID
📝 & fill out a simple application

By opening your home to one of these little babies, you can give them the care, love, and chance they need to grow into happy, healthy dogs.

🛑 Here is the reality of the types of situations we face daily 🛑

An unknown individual covered their face and chose to dump defenseless, nearly newborn puppies in a box outside of a local business. 📦 These babies were left completely helpless, in the scorching Laredo heat without anyway to eat or survive. ☀️🌡️ This is not just unacceptable, it is cruel.

Thankfully, the community informed us and one of our Animal Control Officers safely brought them in. Now, their fight for survival continues. We need foster heroes willing to help care for them since they are so small, they need a home environment to thrive.

How you can step up and help:

• 🍼 FOSTER: If you can take in these little ones, please call our office. We will provide all supplies and information you may need.

• 📞 REPORT: If you witness animal cruelty, animal abandonment, or have information about this incident, please report it immediately by calling 311. If you see something, say something. They depend on us to be their voice.
