Had a great time last night at Lugnuts Dog Days. Even when the storm rolled in we had puppy playtime during the weather delay. We met some great dogs and new friends! Rhonda even picked out an amazing family. So glad we went despite the rain. See you again soon Rhonda 🐕💕

It was a year ago today that Katie started working at the LuvDog Salon. Its always challenging to make transitions but her success outweighs the sacrifice it takes to start again! Katie you are Luv'd and appreciated for everything you put into your craft. We are all blessed to have you around!

🐾 Important Notice About Kennel Cough & Grooming 🐾

Did you know? Kennel Cough is a highly contagious respiratory illness that spreads quickly between dogs—especially in boarding, daycare, and dog park settings.

👉 For the safety of ALL our furry clients, we kindly ask that you update your groomer if your dog has been boarding in the last 10 days or exposed to other high-traffic pet environments like daycare, vets offices or dog parks.

👉We recommend an up to date Bordetella vaccine. (having this vaccine wont prevent kennel cough but may help the symptoms be more mild)

🚨Although LuvDog is a LOW TRAFFIC salon, we have increased our sanitizing measures after alleged reports of kennel cough cases in the greater Lansing area.

This helps us:
✅ Prevent the spread of kennel cough
✅ Keep our salon safe and healthy
✅ Ensure your pup feels their best for their spa day

📌 Symptoms of kennel cough include:
• Persistent, dry cough
• Sneezing or nasal discharge
• Fatigue or loss of appetite

🐕If your dog has any of these symptoms, please reach out to reschedule. There will be no fees associated with rescheduling. We appreciate your understanding and support in keeping our grooming space safe for every pup!

💕We have had zero reports of kennel cough from any of our LuvDog clients, this is a precautionary measure only!
