✨ Hear It From Our Students ✨

“Mandy’s enthusiasm and patience with our puppy was what we needed. Mandy’s training was very helpful with our excitable girl. I especially appreciate the weekly handouts, video examples, suggestions and tips. Mandy truly loves dogs and it shows.” — Rosie C. 💛

🐾 Meet Team Sally:

Sally is a high-energy Black Lab puppy who came to us with plenty of enthusiasm for life! 😄 Her family wanted help channeling all that puppy energy into productive skills while building a strong foundation for the future.

With games-based training, we worked on giving Sally appropriate outlets for her energy while teaching her how to focus, listen, and make good choices—even when her excitement is BIG. 🐶✨

We love hearing that the weekly handouts, video examples, and practical tips have been helpful. Our goal is always to make training something you can confidently continue between sessions and easily incorporate into everyday life.

And yes, Mandy really does love dogs—and getting to watch puppies like Sally grow makes this job pretty special. 💛

One of the biggest misconceptions in dog training is thinking a “good dog” never reacts to anything.

But the goal isn’t to stop your dog from noticing everything around them. It’s to teach them that reconnecting with you is a better deal! 💛

When we reward connection, your dog learns that checking in, disengaging from distractions, and walking with you are all worth it.

And the best part? We can teach these skills through games.

Swipe through to see how we can turn pulling into an opportunity to build:

✨ Better leash skills
✨ Disengagement from distractions
✨ Confidence
✨ A stronger connection with you

Because when learning is fun, it lasts.

Also kinda chic to use a longline when training recall. 🔥👏

A longline can be one of the best tools in your trainer toolkit when you’re working on recall. It gives your dog the freedom to explore while still giving you a safe way to practice coming when called.

It’s especially helpful when you’re ready to take recall outside the backyard and into new environments.

✨ More freedom.
✨ More real-life practice.
✨ More confidence in your recall.

If you are looking for better engagement from your dog and the confidence in knowing your dog will come when called, we’d love to support you!

Through games-based training we can help you become the most exciting thing in your dog’s world!

The next time you’re out walking your dog, look for opportunities to practice settling around distractions. In this example, Griff is playing a Look At That pattern game to practice calmly noticing and ignoring delivery drivers. 👀

When we’re practicing settling, we want to reward them for:

✨ Staying settled
✨ Choosing to disengage from the distraction
✨ Checking back in with you
✨ Remaining calm as the distraction passes

This isn’t about forcing your dog to ignore something they’re uncomfortable with or maybe excited about. It’s about teaching them that they can notice what’s happening around them without feeling like they have to react.

Think of this as adding another tool to your reactivity-prevention toolkit. The more your dog practices calm, successful choices around distractions, the more confident they can become navigating the real world.

And remember: calm behavior is a skill we can build through games, practice, and positive reinforcement.

Meet Team Daisy:
A cattle dog–Bernese mix working through excessive barking, especially around delivery drivers and activity at the home. Daisy is smart, alert, and very tuned into her environment—so we focused on helping her navigate those big moments with more clarity and calm through structured, practical training games.

Every dog expresses big feelings differently, and we worked on giving Daisy skills her family could use in real time to support her through those high-excitement triggers. It’s been amazing seeing her progress as she learns new ways to respond to the world around her.

Every dog learns differently—and that’s why every training plan is tailored to the dog in front of us. Whether your dog needs help with reactivity, confidence building, or everyday life skills, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Help—my dog is scared of thunderstorms!!! ⛈️

Thunderstorms, fireworks, and other loud summer sounds can feel overwhelming for many dogs. The goal isn’t to “fix” the fear overnight—it’s to help your dog feel safer, more supported, and better able to cope when those big sounds happen.
With the right setup and a few simple, supportive strategies, we can start changing how your dog feels about these events over time.

👉 Swipe through to learn easy, practical ways to support your dog during thunderstorms and other noisy summer moments.

And if you’re a dog parent navigating a sound-sensitive dog, we’d love to help with games-based training to gently change your dog’s emotional response to the sounds they find scary.💛
