The Cambridge x Ithaca weirdo is getting weirder!

I've finally settled on the name CBR Calumet!

Can't wait for him to grow out more. It'll be a good few months before he's old enough to pair, but I can be patient! At that time I'll be testing to two, separate Aussie mink lines and an unrelated chocolate line to figure out what's going on.

We've got 4 standard sized, special babies in the house and one of them is extra special!!

Manx is a complex recessive gene that is hard to breed true for and frequently will pop up randomly and never again. This baby will be closely monitored for any health and spinal concerns for its life.

First dwarf litter set to arrive next week!

Toffee (Homozygous Tonkinese Dumbo Dwarf) x Squid (Black Tortie Satin Velveteen Dumbo Dwarf Buck)

This gal exploded overnight. Last night during cage resets I thought she looked a little pregnant, this morning I am certain 😅.

Both parents exhibit wonderfully calm, engaging, and explorative behaviors. They're also both major cuddlebugs. Pairing is to maintain body structure, Tonk dwarf line, Velveteen coat, and temperament!

My OG Aussie Mink lines are back in the Rattery after 8 years and an 11hr round trip!

Huge shout-out to Nic for maintaining them and making this happen. Everyone is currently Aussie Fawn, but they'll be essential in some test breeding and integration of other lines going forward.
