Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

Among those heroes were the search-and-rescue dogs who worked tirelessly through the rubble of Ground Zero. They searched for survivors, helped locate the missing, and brought comfort to those who were grieving. ❤️

🐾 Did you know? More than 300 search-and-rescue dogs were deployed to Ground Zero in the aftermath of 9/11, working alongside first responders to search the rubble and help those in need.

These brave dogs may not have worn uniforms or carried badges, but they were heroes in every sense of the word.

🐾 We honor their courage.
🇺🇸 We remember their service.
❤️ We will never forget.

Today, and always, we remember 9/11 and the four-legged heroes who served.

“Heroes come in all shapes and sizes… some just happen to have four paws.” 🐾🇺🇸

We want to remind our clients that we do not provide after hours emergency services. We understand that emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and we know how stressful it can be when your pet needs immediate medical attention. ❤️🐾

If your pet experiences an emergency outside of our normal business hours, we recommend contacting one of the following 24-hour emergency veterinary hospitals:

🏥 MedVet Lexington
📞 859-276-2505

🏥 Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists
📞 859-347-9938

🏥 Advanced Animal Care – Richmond
📞 859-625-5678

🏥 Tri-State Animal ER
📞 304-453-5700

We encourage you to keep these numbers saved in your phone before an emergency happens. Having an emergency plan in place can make a stressful situation a little easier when every minute matters.

Please remember that these hospitals are equipped and staffed specifically to provide emergency and critical care when your regular veterinary hospital is closed.

🐾 Your pet’s safety is always important to us, even when we aren’t open. We appreciate your understanding and trust in our team! ❤️
