Organic antler dog toys handcrafted in Wyoming using locally harvested antlers and organic cotton ropes. The toy design has been tested and refined with feedback from our German Short Hair Pointer, Trigger. Each Toy has about 4 inches of antler and 12 inches of rope with some variation.
We started making these as a way to say thanks to our loyal shed hunting partner, Trigger. While Trigger loves the process of shed antler collecting as much as I do, I wanted to ensure he also could enjoy some of the antlers once we were back home. To me, a chunk of an antler, or even an entire antler doesn't seem like fun, so I decided to make a few modifications. Result, he loves them.
In addition, Red Canyon Rope dog toys make excellent training aids for those hoping to train their puppies in the art of shed collecting. They allow the puppy to get familiar with the scent of an antler while playing, creating positive feedback to lock in the association of fun with shed antlers.
