WELCOME TO $7 SUNDAY 💸
To help us with the routine expenses of our long term furkids or unexpected Vet bills that tend to pop up - for the price of a Frappuccino, you can help PRINCESS!

Princess says, “Can you help a girl out?” Retired from an Amish breeder at age 5, Princess can’t wait to get on with the rest of her life and find out what being a dog is all about! Problem is, she’s stuck in limbo because the two clinics we use for spay/neuter, have decided not to do brachiocephalic dogs anymore. I.e. smoosh faces. This is very upsetting, not only for Princess, but because we’re going to have to turn away these guys in the future unless we can find an affordable, safe practice. English Bulldogs, Pugs, Shih Tzu, Boston Terriers all have an increased anesthesia risk.

Cypress has given us the best price and we have the ultimate confidence in Dr Rhoads and Dr Johnson - excellent surgeons. All we need to do is to raise about $950! Please help
Us get over this hump in the road so that Princess can find her furever home (and be furever puppy-free!).

So forego the Starbucks this morning and give PRINCESS a hand. Or a paw 🐾 And save yourself some calories. Win-win!

In addition to the FB button, you can donate via Venmo (), PayPal ([email protected]) or good old fashioned check mailed to us at 1497 Flint Hill Rd., Landenberg PA 19350
We appreciate you and your support!

Murphy’s Law says just when heavy blanket weather hits, your washing machine will go on the fritz!

Looking for a gently used front loader full-size washer. While no washer has a long lifespan with us, the front loaders do the best!

Please comment below if you have one available! Thank you, Village!

It’s been a busy week for GRIMM!

First a trip to see the cardiologist to check out his heart murmur. He was a good boy for his examination by Dr. Miller! We found out that he has a congenital defect that he’s lived with for 11 years and shouldn’t cause any problems ongoing and some mild age related changes. No medication needed (yay) but we hope his Adopter will keep up with the annual visits.

Then off to the ophthalmologist (Dr. Badanes at VRC) to check on his progress – he IS making tears! Previously had zero tear production in his right eye and the prescribed tacrolimus was helping (up to 10mm now!) but needs a boost so he’s getting additional drops for that eye. He’s still a very good squinter but has been better about getting his eye drops Now that his eyes are more comfortable. This is a lifelong condition which can be managed by your Vet but, again, we recommend seeing a specialist annually.

We love it that our pets can now get the same care that we get – maybe even better! When I was knee-high to a grasshopper, all these conditions would have gone untreated or undetected. Lucky Grimm!

Grimm has also moved to another Foster home at Crosslands at Kendall (it’s the person who is previously going to adopt him but she is helping us with expenses and to spread the word of his awesomeness and hope that he will find the best home ever). Meanwhile he’s enjoying walks and one on one time 😊.

Please share so that Grimm can find a home and settle in for good!
