BUSY week at Crest View Animal Clinic, LLC last week!

Newcomer PAKA got her vaccines and bloodwork done. All systems go for Adoption! Paka is a senior kitty, estimated to be between 11 and 13 years old, with the cutest round face, round body and stubby tail!

LUNA had a recheck for her stubborn ear infection. Everything is improving nicely!

SOFIE, our scruffy one, had her annual appointment including rabies vaccine and 4DX. Sofie is a little brash with handling and the appointment went better than expected. This annual appointment means she’s been with us for a year.

Volunteer and photographer extraordinaire, Hilary, was out taking pictures yesterday! With this photogenic bunch, the hardest part was getting far enough away from the subject due to demanded snuggles 🥰.

Weekly raffle proceeds will benefit the "not so fun" expenses of life - rent, heat, insurance, etc. So, bid high and bid often - think of it as a donation with benefits!

SUMMER FUN for all of you who are drinking in the last bit of summer. We have a daisy themed shirt (L-XL) and some matching leashes! “I was born to sparkle” T-shirt for Chihuahua sized dog. A life vest for your medium sized dog for the end of summer pool party! Also a cooling collar if your pup gets overheated and a neck snood to help with thunderstorm anxiety. Some lick mats for indoor fun and some rubs and sauces from TNT Spices for your end of season barbecue! And we’ve thrown in a plethora of summer themed toys!

Starting bid $25. Please bid in five dollar increments. All items have been donated – some non-food items may be gently used. Prompt pick up at the Rescue in Landenberg PA is appreciated! *****

Where is TYRON going? Off on a fun adventure with his Pen Pal, Paula!

Pen Pals are invaluable for giving the dogs a much-needed shelter break! Whether it is for a few hours at a local park, an afternoon of R&R in a home with a big fenced yard or a weekend getaway -Pen Pals really make a difference!

Some of our dogs, like TY, came to us under socialized and take a little while to warm up and we would love for them to make that special bond with their very own Pen Pal. This guy was found just down the street from the rescue - since his owner has not been able to be located, we are assuming that he was dumped on the property and maybe ran after the car that dropped him off.

The first we thought he was one of our adopted puppies – he looks so similar to MAZI’s litter! But everyone was accounted for… So, to keep with the car theme, we are calling him HERBIE THE LOVE BUG!

Herbie looks to be about a year-old and a mix of maybe Lab and Border Collie. He’s very energetic and doesn’t seem to have a lot of training – we will be working on that while we wait his neuter appointment after which he will be available for Adoption! He’s only been here for a week so we’re still getting to know him but we feel that he would be a great family Dog for an active, outdoorsy family! 🖤
