🐾A Little Small Business Etiquette Reminder🐾

As a small business owner in the service industry, I want to kindly remind everyone how important it is to cancel or reschedule appointments 48 hours+ before your appointment times.

When you book an appointment with HappyTails Grooming, that time is reserved specifically for you and your pup(s). I turn away other clients and plan my entire day around the appointments on my schedule. When someone simply doesn't show up or leaves me hanging without communication, that is time and income that I cannot get back. My time and my business are important too!💕

Because of an increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows from NEW CLIENTS, I will be implementing a deposit policy for all NEW CLIENTS first appointments with me. Effective immediately, all NEW CLIENTS will be required to pay a deposit equal to 1/2 of their scheduled appointment cost.

Here's how the deposit will work:

🐶Keep your appointment: Your deposit goes towards your grooming total

🐶Cancel or Reschedule 7 or more days before your appointment: Your deposit will be refunded or transferred to your new appointment

🐶Cancel, Reschedule, or No-call/No show with less than 7 days notice: The deposit will be forfeited

I completely understand that things happen. Communication is all I have ever asked for. A simple message letting me know you can't make your appointment gives me the opportunity to offer that spot to another pup who needs it.

Thank you to ALL my wonderful clients who respect my time, my business & the work I put into caring for your pups. I truly appreciate you!🐾💕

Please remember: when you are booking an appointment, you are reserving a spot - not just putting your name on a calendar!
