Meet Scooby, a 3 year old APBT, a super serious dude. Nervous, anxious and skeptical of strangers. He was very reactive to strangers entering the home, strangers on walks, but LOVES other dogs. He is super smart and knows many basic skills. Scooby has done very well with conditioning work in public. He still needs breaks on ocassion but overall has done well with the training. I'm proud his family is dedicated to continue his training and help him feel safe in scary environments.
Client Comments:
We enjoyed learning about Scooby's behavior and how to implement counter conditioning training. We have been successful at walking past strangers without reactivity and treats. We practice daily and are committed to helping him overcome his reactivity. We would certainly recommend Michelle to friends.

Meet Zara a 6 mth old Shepherd Mix. She was very fearful of people, new environments and resource guarded high value items. The owners have done a fantastic job at providing her with the positive training techniques & excellent management tools to help her be successful. Zara lives with two other dogs which have been great role models. Zara is getting braver and can meet dogs and people with less apprehension. She even seeks attention which is fabulous. She has really blossomed in the 4 weeks we spent training together. I'm so proud of the family.

Client Comments:
We really enjoyed learning the positive techniques in helping our fearful dog. Doing conditioning work in public places has been very effective. We would certainly recommend Michelle to a friend and are pleased with our results. Having Zara be more comfortable was our main goal and we achieved that.

KOKO & HER SISTERS
Although small & sweet these girls had a very tumultuous relationship. Koko being a Resource Guarder, has caused a rift in the dynamics of their relationship. She guarded everything from her sisters. Food, toys and space which often caused her to attack. Koko was very fearful & anxious barking at strangers & strange dogs. The owners did their best by socializing with them as they grew to no avail with Koko. However, with a big dose of trigger & stress management and a medicinal intervention the girls are progressing nicely, being friends again. So, proud of their progress.

CLIENT COMMENTS:
Koko is a changed girl and we are so happy with all the results of everything. We still isolate her when food comes out but no injuries to her or from her to the other dogs. Can’t thank you enough. I can tell you that she isn’t snapping at the others for things that previously caused aggression. We still separate her for meals and playtime but just things like going to bed and lifting up another dog on to the bed to pet or cuddle would drive her to snap but now she’s accepting it. In fact the other dogs are still scared to come up onto the bed at night if she’s on it but we invite them up to the bed and she goes back to sleep and minding her own business. She’s 80% better. Thanks again!🥰

Puppy Mill Momma Gets a 2nd Chance: Miss Ruggles a 5yr old English Bulldog breeder dog who never lived in a home was adopted from Zoe's House Rescue to an amazing young family. She was fearful and unsure of her new environment in a house, on a leash and with a toddler. She would growl and snap at strangers and refused to walk far from the home. The family desperately wanted to give her a chance and remained dedicated to going slow and giving her time & space to acclimate. So proud of them for resolving behavior concerns through love, understanding & compassion.
