These folks do SO MUCH for the kitties and the cafe, too! Give them some love ❤️🫶

HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK!

This week, we’re celebrating the AMAZING people who make so much of what we do possible! 🩺🐱🐶

At Columbia Animal Shelter, we may have a small team, but our hearts are BIG, and our dedication to the animals in our care is even bigger. Every single day, our staff shows up with compassion, patience, hard work, and an incredible amount of love for the pets who depend on us. ❤️

Animal welfare isn’t always easy, and veterinary medicine takes a special kind of heart. The long days, emotional moments, messy jobs, and endless to-do lists are all worth it when we see an animal heal, learn to trust, or finally find their fur-ever home. 🐾

Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, your resilience, and for being the voices of the animals who cannot speak for themselves. You make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for YOU!

Help us celebrate our small but mighty staff this week! THANK YOU!

THE TIME HAS COME! 🎨 Artists! Makers! Creatives!

We’re almost at the end of 2026 already (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??), and are so proud to say that by the end of the year, we’ll have featured 34 local, incredible artists and 57 total since we’ve opened!!! Being able to showcase and highlight these artists is one of things I was most looking forward to about having this brick and mortar space. It’s been SO awesome to see artists appreciated by our customers for the amazing pieces they create, and the joy that comes from it. And now it’s time to do it all over again!!

The LINK is in the COMMENT SECTIONNNN of this post, and in our Linktree on Instagram. Please apply ASAP! We’re capping the applications at 100 artists ( 😮‍💨) so that we can have a wide pool of applicants and lots of folks can submit!

Since we’ll likely have many applicants, please afford us some grace time to respond to applications. We’re just little guys.

If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]

We’re super excited to see everyone’s art and begin a wholeeee new year of amazing cafe featured artists! 😽
