SEPTEMBER ART HAS ARRIVED 🖌️🎨

tabitha karolewics 🌷🤍 is a local multimedia lancaster artist that creates adorable clay babies/charms, prints, and paintings. Their inspiration is “cuteness” as you can see, and we absolutely love it.

Beth Fowler, artist is a seasoned artist who’s shown her stuff in tons of local galleries! She has an eclectic art style that ranges from bright and sunny to moody and dark. Check out that gallery wall of all her work!

Riley Schaefer is another local artist that works in unique and incredibly FUN ceramics. They’ve got sassy mugs, handmade slow pet feeder bowls, trinket dishes, magnets, and a SECRET FIFTH THING! Come find out what it is 😍 also, be on the lookout for a craft night in November with them… 👀❤️

We’re so excited for this round of art (we say it every time, and MEAN IT every time). Come check everything out this weekend! We can’t wait to see ya!

DON’T FREAK OUT, but we’re taking walk-ins. ✨

This week is gonna be a little more loosey-goosey than usual. Each sesh will still be about an hour long, like usual. When you come in for a walk-in session, we’ll still be giving you the run-down for how the cat rooms work, like usual 👀 BUT, you can kinda just pop in… NOT LIKE USUAL. Sort of whenever (as long as it’s not siesta time!)

SO COME ON DOWN TO CAT TOWN. It’s real cozy ❤️

Sometimes things just don’t work out. ❤️‍🩹

Through no fault of their own, Matthew and Murdoch will be staying at the cat cafe, still awaiting an adoption. We know you were all very excited to see them get adopted. We were, too.

Here’s what I will say about this:
We work very hard to make sure that all of these cats looking for their forever homes are going to GOOD ones. The adoption process through each rescue we partner with involves a thorough application, references, and for some of them, even home visits before an acceptance. Clearly, this isn’t something we take lightly. When you apply to adopt an animal, this is a huge commitment and we want to make sure that the humans and homes these animals are going to will fit their personality, their needs, and that they will be well cared for. That’s our biggest goal here.

Sometimes things change: finances, living situations, relationships. Life happens, and we get that.

But this is why we need our adopters to be 150% sure about this decision before they take the leap. If you have even a TINY bit of hesitance about bringing a new life into your home, that you are fully responsible for caring for and supporting, please listen to your gut, and don’t adopt at this time. You as well as your new pet both deserve to feel stable and comfortable in this situation. It should be one of joy and excitement, not apprehension.

These cats deserve the safety of consistency.

We’re glad that the right decision was made in the end, and that these two sweet boys are staying at the cafe where they will be loved and cherished as long as they’re here.

Scoop 61 & 62: Jo March and Laurie!

These sweet little siblings had no chance at staying at the cafe very long with how simply adorable they both are; we knew they’d be scooped ASAP! Literally look at Jo’s nose freckles and bright, beautiful eyes? And Laurie’s sleek black floof and friendly baby face? Come on 😭

We wish these sweeties a lifetime of cuddles and love with their new family 🥹🖤🤍
